Good, but staff needs improvement
The room itself was very nice and comfortable. They really put effort into making it classy. However, the staff seemed to be on a lower level. The cleaning staff began talking loudly outside my door around 6:00am and continued all morning. I was at a concert until 1:00am, so I wasn't too happy to wake up to it. The concierge was not very helpful when we asked for her to suggest a local place where we could grab some food and a drink. Despite that, I would stay there again if I was going to another concert to attend.

Staff requires commendation
Our daughter-in-law traveled from Kunming, Yunnan, PRC with their two year old son. She missed her flight from Seattle to Chicago. My husband and I had reserved a room so that she and her son could rest before driving two hours to our home. The hotel staff woman who worked April 2, evening shift, was so helpful to get us all settled at three AM,, which was eight hours later than we had planned. I did not get the young woman's name, but she deserves a gold star, bonus, or a pat on the back, maybe all three. Thank you for assisting us with our reservation and stay.

Close to restaurants, Target. Not too far from downtown
Stayed here over the St. Patty's weekend. Room was clean, beds are the Comfort Select, which was nice. Staff was pleasant, room decor was a bit out-dated. Hotel has a Longhorn Steakhouse conjoined, IHOP and Target across the street, so you could eat cheap and pick up things you may have forgotten. Travel to downtown was approximately 22 minutes. Overall, it was a bargain staying here over downtown hotels.

Quick stay in Chicago
The hotel was very accommodating in all areas of service. The room was neat and clean and quiet. The staff was polite and helpful. The room rate was very reasonable. We were there for two days and it worked well for us. The shuttle picked us up at O’Hare. Also the car rental desk in the lobby and the person working there were super. It was one of the main reasons we chose Raddison. There is a breakfast buffet just off the entrance that was very good. Restaurants are close by.
