smokey, dirty, cheaply done
The first room given to me was filled with cigarette smoke odor, the windows were broken. The second room was cleaner smelling, but the floor was filthy. The desk was to be open 24 hours, but was clearly closed at midnight. The staff was ok to somewhat disturbed that customers were needing attending to. I was surprised as I had heard that the chain was good. It was cheaper than some places but still overpriced for the price/value.

Easy to get to. Spacious room. Pleasant staff. Awful odor in kitchen area/drain. Stains on furniture and carpet. Filth under the bed. Did not read the reviews prior to booking. Great price [...] made it okay.

Pleasingly Surprised
When I drove into the parking lot and saw a guy sitting on the tail gate of his truck grilling brats while it's snowing; I wasn't wasn't sure if I should keep going or chalk it up to an anomaly. In side the lobby was clean and the clerk was friendly even though it was shift change. The halls were quiet and room was clean. The king size bed should have pillows bigger than a postage stamp and more firm than pudding. The convertable soft and lazy boy were dated but functional and clean.

Good value hotel
Layout of the rooms are great. Like having the fridge and a microwave. Airport shuttle only runs on the hour but very promt.

Extended Stay DOWNGRADE
Parking is free, breakfast selection is REALLY limited, located literally across the street from the airport - which is good for someone who just landed and needs somewhere to stay - bad for someone on business looking for a quiet night's sleep. Have lots of quarters on you for laundry. Not many decent/quality restaurants around.

Review of Extended Stay Deluxe O'Hare
I visited relatives. I just wish the bathroom in particular had been a little bit cleaner. Overall, for the price, it was acceptable.

Average..Not so pleasant
Pros: price, location, kitchen Cons: Its true that "you get what you pay" but getting extra $5 for internet connectivity is something bad. The worst part is being Wi-Fi if you are not close to reception desk the signal strenght is VERY VERY LOW...Worst toilet and bedding. If you have a 3rd person there is no extra bed its a pull out bed from couch. There is no blanket/comforter for 3rd guest in the room.

Great staff, location and great price!
I have stayed in much fancier places, but this fit my needs perfectly! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was basic yet roomy, and having a refrigerator and microwave was a plus. Location was ideal. All in all, this was a great value!
