The free shuttle is a cab that the hotel pays for once you get there. When you call for the shuttle they give you a cab company number, the person who answered when i called did not tell me that the hotel would pay for the cab. Almost jumped in a different cab, glad I didn't. There was an unmentionable item on the floor underneath the bedskirt. Glad my kid didn't find it.

The place is not clean and it smells in corridor. Rooms are ok and location is good and close to air port.

Cheap, but staff not very enthusiastic. Breakfast OK, but too many people in dining area.

The Hotel its self was not the cleanest. Staff was very helpful and nice. Convenience to get to airport was very good, they made sure we had shuttle to and from.

I booked BW because this was a longer trip and the savings over several days was considerable. Usually I stay at Comfort Inn. I didn't expect the "breakfast" at BW to be up to the standard I expect from CI, after all, the cost difference is about 20%. What I wasn't prepared for was the difference in the overall quality of the experience. The BW breakfast area was cramped and dirty. The forks were in a plastic container that looked as if it had not been clean since its first use, probably 10 years or more ago. The counter was dirty. The waffle iron was so dirty the waffles stuck no matter how much it was sprayed. There was only one, count it now, one cup for the waffle batter the first morning I was there, a Sunday. Other mornings would I would find no napkins, or no jam, or no forks. It's as though they considered the whole ordeal to be a nuisance and hope no one would notice. My room was clean for the most part, but the whole 3rd floor had a bad smell, like being near someone who doesn't wash their hair. At first I thought it was the pillows, then realized it was in the hallways too. Have to commend the cleaning staff on the state of the rooms though, mine was clean and stayed that way for the duration of my trip. Next time though, I don't plan to save the money by staying in a BW. It costs too much to save so little.

It was a good hotel, friendly front desk, decent shuttle ... the neighborhood was OK.

Just a basic place. Is okay for a overnight stay. Would have been nice to known there is a raliroad track to the side, very noisy. Overall the staff was very nice. Plenty of decent places to eat nearby.

I was taken aback with how nice the staff was, the room was comfortable though a little dark and shy on power sockets. Internet was relatively fast, without a password hassle. The location is extremely good, there is a shuttle available but the 250 bus will lead you to either the airport (no transfers) or to the Metra Station to take the train into the city. There are many nearby stores that will serve needs, the continental breakfast was nice and the waffle maker is a nice touch. Clothes facilities were clean, and there was a nice sized exercise and swimming facility available (not just two treadmills in a room.) The staff were always extremely personable and went out of their way to be helpful. Overall this is an excellent value.

The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. The pool is heated and opens till 10pm. This was my first time at a Best Western and I hope all Best Western hotels are like this one.
