Nice Rooms, Thin Walls
The hotel is situated near several other hotels in the area and is a bit difficult to see from the road because it's actually behind another hotel. They must be aware of the competition in the area because the rooms themselves and the rest of the hotel is very well done and nice. However, we likely would not stay there again because the walls are paper thin. We now know that the guest in the room next to ours likes to hit snooze (as we heard his alarm...twice) and either had a cold or allergies from the number of times we heard him clear his throat. There were also a bunch of kids in rooms nearby, several of whom, were not happy about something. Breakfast was really nice and they appear to have coffee available throughout the day (you'd have to ask just to be sure, we just happened to see about coffee and hot water about an hour after breakfast was done). I think they also have cookies out during the day. Pool and hot tub were nice as well, they even have noodles and balls for the kids which is a nice touch. If not for the super thin walls, we'd certainly stay there again.

Comfortable Accomodations
We stayed at the hotel for a wedding in town. It was difficult to find the hotel - it's not easy to see from the main road. When we called the front desk to get directions, the woman who answered was unable to provide any directions - all the help she could give was to turn right at the first light, near the gas station. Well, there are a lot of lights in the area and gas stations. They need a more informed desk clerk. Once we found the hotel, our visit improved. The facilities were comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and had a lot of variety. Easy to get to downtown Decatur - just a short drive down 51.

Very Nice
I really liked how clean the hotel was. It was refreshing as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly, the location was located by the mall, the movie theater, and several restaurants.

not a good experience
The room was not cleaned, old shampoo bottles and soap, not enough towels and the frig had old food in it. Then when we checked out they were not certain if we had paid or not. When I checked my statement they had already charged me.

the good and the bad
The hotel was great until we had to pay as they didn't have anything from Orbitz on a package deal. The same as with Avis Car Rental. We had already paid in advance so why did we have to pay upon checkout?
