My overall was good, the staff is friendly & helpful. Room 141 needs to have the spiderwebs cleaned out of the bathroom & the hallway leading to that room is very SMOKY, they need more than just a air fresh net at the end. They need to replace the
carpet & add more freshness...
My trip to this hotel was alright. It was not the best place ever but it was good for the price and for one night. My first room placement was not satisfactory, however the staff were very accommodating and switched my room.
Super clean, super friendly and helpful staff, really nice breakfast. First time getting to visit our grandkids since they relocated in DeCatur. Close to their home, and a fantastic value. Rooms are small but, we were just there to sleep and
freshen up. Was a great trip for us!! Now if you could just get us better roads from KY to IL we would be SUPER satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Really nice "family dining" right around the corner
This was a horrible experience. I found a cockroach, spider and web, then also found dog food under the sink. The front dest was very rude when I called and let them know. Never again would I stay here!
was in town for family gathering. chose this hotel because last minute plans. compared to other hotels in the same area (of which there are many) that were not avaiable because of July 4th weekend, this was an okay compromise. Oddly enough the
room number system made no sense and it was hard to find my room. Operating the tv's takes two remotes and you have to ask the desk which one does what. The major drawback was that the front half of the hotel smelled of old smoke and the back half where I stayed smelled like fresh cat pee! Plus the "breakfast" they offered in the morning was pathetic and gross. I would not recommend this place. The maids did do an amazing job cleaning the rooms though. They were spotless when I returned to the room in the afternoon.
