Good price - Challenging experience

Nice premises. Check-in experience was not good. Manager "seemed" to have lost the reservations, saying it was fully booked. Had to go to Baymont Inn reservations to prove there were reservations.

weekend stay

This was a horrible experience. I found a cockroach, spider and web, then also found dog food under the sink. The front dest was very rude when I called and let them know. Never again would I stay here!

Ok stay

was in town for family gathering. chose this hotel because last minute plans. compared to other hotels in the same area (of which there are many) that were not avaiable because of July 4th weekend, this was an okay compromise. Oddly enough the room number system made no sense and it was hard to find my room. Operating the tv's takes two remotes and you have to ask the desk which one does what. The major drawback was that the front half of the hotel smelled of old smoke and the back half where I stayed smelled like fresh cat pee! Plus the "breakfast" they offered in the morning was pathetic and gross. I would not recommend this place. The maids did do an amazing job cleaning the rooms though. They were spotless when I returned to the room in the afternoon.

Baymont Inn Decatur

Friendly staff and clean room.. Comfortable bed.. Parking lot got cleared quickly of a substantial snow.. Breakfast waffles were fine!

Needs a Little Help

While the location was prime (very close to restaurants and shopping), the room itself needed some work. Some of the decor was damaged, the carpet had not been vacuumed well, and certain areas of the room were quite dusty. The fitness center only had three exercise machines and one of them was quite raggedy. With a little more TLC, this establishment could attracted more guests.

Basically clean, comfortable, convenient

Fine. Could have been a bit cleaner, as some of the literature in the room was dirty.

Clean, quiet & cheap

The hotel room was clean, quiet, and very cheap. Good bang for your buck. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but is about what you would expect from a roadside motel.
