      Rooms
Sleekly decorated with hints of Asian influence, standard rooms at the dana hotel and spa feature a half wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and walkout balconies. Serenity is infused in everything from the natural, sustainable floors to the 300-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets over pillow-top mattresses. Glass separates bath from boudoir and illuminates the shower rooms, featuring Italian rain shower fixtures and handcrafted tiles.

New this summer is the Bartender’s Booth, where patrons can sample craft cocktails and off-menu bites while engaging with their very own mixologist.

Guests can also head to freestyle food + drink on site to sample American favorites with a global twist during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour. The restaurant also has a street-side patio for outdoor dining (as weather permits).

      Relaxing Weekend Get-Away

Great location in river north. I live in Chicago and stayed downtown to catch a show at the Oriental theater (walking distance) and relax with my partner for the weekend. Doormen extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Walls are paper thin, but other than that, the rooms are very relaxing. Shower is wonderful. Stayed in comfy kind (small room) and had a small balcony on 21st floor - breathtaking views of the city.

      A great experience

We stayed at the Dana for my husband's birthday and had a great time. The room was beautiful and we had a corner room with tons of windows. They gave us complimentary wine and chocolate-covered strawberries since I called ahead of time to let them know that we were celebrating, which was great. Overall, the hotel staff were very nice, but the restaurant staff seemed a bit pretentious. It was slightly noisy, but we were at the end of the hallway so it wasn't that big of a deal. A very beautiful hotel in a great location.

      Good Location

Complimentary breakfast good but every morning they ran out of fruit and pastries. Coffee supply always empty. They offer breakfast until 10:30 am but ran out of everything by 10:00. Also, shortage of face cloths. We didn't get any the second day. I called to get some but they said there were none clean so we got hand towels. Great beds, so comfortable.

      Unique and fun hotel

Very nice, trendy hotel with great in-room amenities including the sound system, Keurig coffee maker, free wireless, etc. Somewhat shocked by the clear glass shower visible to the bedroom! The King room was somewhat small. Service was very friendly and staff provided us with a complimentary meeting room and speaker phone on short notice, which was greatly appreciated. Good Asian restaurant on-site as well.

      Comfortable, modern room

Great for a staycation. Loved the beautiful balcony and great view. Bathroom setup is a little weird as the glass shower is the only thing that separates the toilet/sink from the bedroom... The flimsy, optional curtain does not a ton of privacy. Levels towards the top of the hotel are subject to loud music from the Vertigo Sky Lounge rooftop. While possible to drown it out with the complimentary speakers that connect to iDevices, still a little annoying later in the evening. Overall, it was very pleasant and a unique experience.

      Great hotel

My husband and I stayed there over the memorial day holiday weekend. Great location. Just 5 minute walk from Michigan Ave. We got a room in front of the elevator (I was afraid it would be too noisy), so as soon as I got in the room I called the front desk and right away they gave me one farthest away from the elevator and upgraded it for free too! All staff extremely nice and helpful.

      Modern, Hip and comfortable

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Rooms are very modern and full of amenities. Staff is very friendly. We stayed on the 21st floor and we were still able to hear noises from the top floor bar above the 25th floor. We do not recommend ordering room service after midnite. Food was cold and not many choices to choose from. Aside from the minor set backs, the Dana is a great place to stay in the heart of downtown Chicago, close to many restaurants and shopping, all within walking distance.

      Upbeat and sassy hidden treasure

This is my first stay at any hotel in Chicago while visiting my girlfriend, so of course I want it to be perfect. This hotel fit everything we wanted it for. A friendly staff, clean and modern room with a great view for the price as well as a relatively central location. The soft King sized bed and spacious shower were fantastic for us being a tall couple. The rooftop bar had an amazing design and attentative bartenders. I will certainly be back and recommend it to my friends.
