Pack Expo Trip
not as good as last year with smaller staff and breakfast was a disaster. Too few personnel and I think everyone in the restaurant received half of what they ordered.

Business trip
Nice, clean hotel with decent views. Had a corner king room, however the place was incredibly loud all night and could hardly fall asleep. Plus not sure if the air conditioner was working or not but the room was way too hot for my comfort. Nice bar downstairs for drinks but would probably not stay here again due to the noise.

Comfortable beds, pricey food
Great rooms, nice beds, good pillows. Would have been even better if it had a pool. The exercise room has nice equipment but is a little small.

Unique and fun hotel
Very nice, trendy hotel with great in-room amenities including the sound system, Keurig coffee maker, free wireless, etc. Somewhat shocked by the clear glass shower visible to the bedroom! The King room was somewhat small. Service was very friendly and staff provided us with a complimentary meeting room and speaker phone on short notice, which was greatly appreciated. Good Asian restaurant on-site as well.

Cool find
Loved the intimate atmosphere of this place over the huge chains. It has a retro funky vibe while still being tasteful. Staff was great, good mid-price point. Rooms are a smallish but make good use of the space and the views with floor to ceiling glass cannot be beat. The see through shower is a nice touch. I will make this my standby when I travel to Chicago.

Return to Dana
We decided to return to the Dana Hotel rather than the other hotel where my business meeting was held, in spite of a really nice discounted rate at the other place. We like the Dana, because of its convenient location, close to the Water Tower Place, Bistro 110, Cafe Iberico, Apple Store, Whole Foods, Rockit Bar, etc. Service at the door was excellent. Front desk was good. My only glitch was that my magnetic key would not open my room door, although it worked on the elevator. I asked the lady at the front desk to take care of it. She supposedly did, but it still did not work. She tried to tell me that I could have called..how do I do that if I could not get into my room? Besides, I prefer face to face dealing with these issues. She got it fixed when I told her that if it still did not work, I was coming back to talk to her face to face. Sunday morning breakfast in Chicago is a challenge.

The food at the hotel was very good. They have a lovely lounge in the lobby and there are plenty of restaurant choices in a two block radius.
