Wyndham Chicago Downtown Hotel

There were problems with the heating system and the pipes were banging every 15 minutes. The noise was so loud that it sounded like some one was breaking into the room. This was worst night ever in a hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel and have brought many diffetent friends and family here and have found it to be an excellent choice. The absolute best location. Convient with the restaurant and bar on site. Can't find anywhere in Chicago with white table cloth lunch and choice for $10.00/ The best. However, after being there so many times, would like to see a little change in choice. Only had ONE slight disappointment and it was quickly taken care of... Staff is great.

Loved It! The location was perfect! My friend and I could walk or take a short cab ride to anywhere we wanted to go. Also, The workers at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. It was our first time in chicago, so we were very unsure about the area. The front desk boys informed us on all the fun spots to eat, drink, shop, etc. I will most definetly be back to the Wyndahm chicago downtown hotel very soon!

I've stayed at this hotel many times, 3 in the last 3 months. When the price is right I will always stay here. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, absolutely best location... Love to go to a hotel where the staff remembers you, maybe not by name but by face for sure. Reccomend highly.

Perfect location, great staff and rooms... very satisfied! Will book this hotel again in May!

Everything was great, with one excerption, the TV had limited channels, missing Fox News and USA network

I stayed at the Wyndham a weekend in January this year and enjoyed my stay. The location was great- I recommend the Corner Bakery right across the street for breakfast, and Garrett's popcorn shop down a couple of blocks for a delicious snack. The staff were nice and friendly and the hotel was clean but offered few amenities. The TVs were outdated and the "cold box" in the room didn't get below 50 degrees. We walked everywhere from the hotel that we wanted to go but it would be relatively easy to catch a cab.

We came in on Saturday Morning at noon and they waived the early check in fee which was obviously nice since check in isn't until 4pm. We got to our room which was booked for the rate of $90 (which is considerably less than ALL other sites showing at least $130). The room was average sized and with nice bedding and bathroom but I could hear the neighbors talking and we were right near the elevator which I was not happy about. I called the front desk after an hour of trying to sleep and they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite on the top floor!! Otherwise, an average stay without any issues whatsoever and the staff was very courteous and responsive to our needs. Only downfall is that the closest metro is 10 blocks away. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel though!

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. It was walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. Would have liked to have had Wi-Fi included in the rate. Weather Channel was not available, would have liked to be able to see what the local weather forecast /radar was as we were there in a snowstorm. Close to main shopping area and many attractions and restaurants. Unfortunately no time to check out the pool.
