The hotel's arguably best views are usually found at the corner suites on the upper floors.

Don't forget to end the day with a classic deep-dish Chicago 'pizza pie' at Gino's East.

    A VERY NICE HOTEL!

We stayed in room 1609 and were very pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was. The bed was comfortable the room temperature was easily controlled. The bed linens and pillows were nice. The shower was nice, although the bathroom was just a little small. I would have preferred a separate switch for a bathroom fan (the light switch automatically turned on the fan which was a bit noisy). The soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were nice, and the maid service was wonderful. Coffee in the morning on the 2nd floor was complimentary, and there were several places to enjoy coffee and USA Today. Front check in was a little slow, but it is always a good sign when a hotel is busy. I loved the location and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

    Excellent experience

We arrived in the bitter cold of February. The hotel hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating and set us up with an ideal corner room. Our 9-year-old daughter loved it and wants to go back. She also appreciated that the American Girl store is only 2 blocks away.

    Nice hotel, great location!

This was our first time to Chicago. So glad we choose the Allerton. Staff was nice & accommodating. Location was perfect, right in the middle of the Mag Mile. My only complaint is our room was right next to the elevator. As other reviews say, the rooms are very small...well the hotel was built in the 20s! It was fine for me & my husband, if you're traveling w/ a family I would upgrade to a suite. Parking is right next door if you choose or many other parking garages close.

Ok hotel but there are better

Ok hotel, my room was small for the money they charged me. No coffee maker in room and no room in fridge to add your own things. My room did not have a bath tub only shower and did not have a shower nozzle along with shower head so it made it difficult to wash parts of body like feet without getting all your body wet. The fitness center is small and is lacking. No coffee shop near by have to walk several blocks. They charge for Internet in room so everyone was in the lobby using their computers to work wich was very annoying. Who charges for Internet anymore.

    Close to everything + comforable

I'd read several reviews on the Warwick and they were mixed... but we enjoyed our stay. Pros: - The beds and pillows were comfortable - Towels were fluffy - Close to everything. We could stop back and drop stuff off and rest from walking. Also near buses. - We were able to check in early both on our first day, and when changed rooms from Queen to King - They give you a dining credit if you decline daily room cleaning (must be used same day though) - Floor 10 and Floor 17, inside courtyard rooms were quiet. We didn't had a slight view of Magnificent Mile on from one side of courtyard, but quiet was more important. - Staff was fine. Front desk was usually busy, but they totally accommodated our room change. When passing staff in hallways, etc... they seemed super friendly. - Able to get internet in both rooms Cons: - Elevator did take a while sometimes - Drain in bathroom tub was SLOW (water buildup in shower). At first, I thought it was the room, but then it didn't drain in the king room either. They did fix this though by end of our stay. Nearby: We were there for a wedding, visiting friends and some sightseeing. On one of our free nights, we went to a restaurant just around the corner from Warwick called mEAT. I'm not a huge meat eater in general, but the food we got was awesome! We had bacon wrapped dates, stuffed mushrooms, fondue and meatballs. After dinner we went to John Hancock tower (about 3 blocks from hotel) for a cocktail. It was free to go up to the lounge. GREAT view! Sunday night around 9pm there was NO LINE and we got window seats overlooking the city. Crowd started to arrive about 9:30. (Ladies, great view from the bathroom if you aren't by the window seats.) The hotel is also by a couple Walgreens and 2 blocks from Water Tower. There was a Starbucks about a block and half south. And an ATM in the parking ramp a block east.

    Weekend Trip to Chicago

Our stay at the Warwick Allerton was a good experience relative to the room comfort and the staff. Our only issue was the spiders on the outside of our window. This should be cleaned!
