Economic Stay
When you walk in the room, you get exactly what you should expect at a hotel. A comfortable bed, a tv, and a desk with chair. The room was bare bones, but do you really need anything else? No, you should be out enjoying everything that Chicago has to offer. For the price, a wonderful stay, and the location was excellent.

Alright...
I would only recommend this hotel if you just need a place to sleep and you are not going to spend any time here.. It was not the grossest hotel I have been in, however it could have definitely been a lot cleaner. I would also not bring a family here.

Good Weekend Getaway
Perfect location in the heart of all the festivities. Just minutes from all the fun and shopping. The hotel staff was very helpful in serving as a guide and offering recommendations. Would stay here again when I come back in town.

The previous reviews said it all. The rooms are dated and spartan. The location is great though. I would never stay here with girlfriend but it was good for the guys and boozing.

Friends visiting the city.
We were only in Chicago for a couple of days and wanted to see some art and architecture as well as being near Millenium Park and the lake. The location of this hotel was fantastic for our needs. We walked to all these things, as well as to shops and cafes. There is a useful little cafe attached to the hotel for breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly and although the decor was a bit tired, for our needs it was fantastic value.

Amazing staff!
The hotel wasn't anything special, very little amenities, average hotel at best. But when you factor in the great, helpful, polite, and caring staff you have a very good experience. I don't remember his name other than I think it started with a P, lol, but thank you Mr. P at the front desk. You made our trip that much better, and brightened a hectic day. And your recommended restaurant was AMAZING. The pizza and staff at Lou Malnati's was excellent.

A good stay to go around in downtown
Very close to CTA station, also the Michigan Ave. A great location. The only problem is there are not many restaurants to choose, except the subway, KFC, and Pizza Hut.

Wouldn't stay here again!
The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable! The room was blazing hot so we turned the air on and it was the loudest machine ever!!

Great Location and Service
This hotel is nothing fancy and the bathroom was very small, however we did not go to Chicago to stay in our room! The mattress was great and service was superior. The only complaint I had is that the maids did not change the bedding and it was obviously soiled with a food stain. We did have the bed changed before we left the hotel for the evening. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were looking to stay in the Grant Park area
