Beautiful and great Location
The hotel was lovely! You had to pay 49 dollars for valet parking, but it was necessary because the closest parking garage was five blocks away and 30 something dollars. The room was smaller than I expected, but the location was perfect! You're right next to the Millenium Mile. Overall, it was a great quality hotel for a not so bad price.

Money-saving tip:
Long walk from hotel
Have the valet take your car for you and just walk everywhere! It's a lot cheaper than parking in three different parking garages that each charge 22 dollars!

Good hotel, Awesome location, Wonderful restuarant
My wife and I took a little vacation during the week to Chicago, and the hotel was perfect for what we wanted. While I have been a better hotels before, its location is wonderful (less than a block from the Hancock building and cheese cake factory on the magnificent mile), they have an awesome breakfast restaurant next to the hotel, and the staff was polite and attentive. Best of all, the price was affordable.

Short walk from hotel
The Signature Room is just within a block from the hotel. Its on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building and allows you to see the whole city while you eat. It is upscale and my wife and I ended up spending almost $200 on our meal, but it was an excellent experience.

Affordable hotel, great location
In my boyfriend's words: "My only complaint was that the toilet seat was not the same shape as the toilet." There were other issues, such as the elevator, but overall it was a decent place to spend 2 nights... and you certainly can't beat the location.

Weekend vist
While the room was clean and nice, it was very small and dark. Tried to move to a different room but front desk person did not offer an upgrade or seem willing to budge. He said the room had been assigned (to us??). It is an older hotel and is due for some renovations. Had asked for some bottled water. They sent us down the street to a pharmacy. The location is fantastic.

Not impressed!
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in a king-superior room and were not impressed! The room was small, our toilet didn't flush (we told front desk and they were well aware of the problem, told us the "trick" to flushing but weren't going to fix it), phone didn't work, and we were treated poorly due to profiling since we are a young couple! Another couple we met checked into their "clean" room and it looked half lived in! The location is the only thing this hotel has going for it! The valet told us parking was built into our room rate, only to find a bill for $49/night parking under our door the last day!
