Quaint vintage hotel just off the Magnificent Mile
A deep green awning marks the entrance to this downtown hotel, which reflects the charm and European elegance of its Gold Coast environs. Guests can walk to Magnificent Mile shops, restaurants, bars, elite Oak Street boutiques and Rush Street nightlife from the doors of the Treemont Hotel. Great location, interesting sounds?
Stayed in the two (2) bedroom suite. Great location, great room but there was this disconcerning sounds that went on whenever someone used the toilet in the adjacents suites. It was so loud at first we thought someone was trying to break into the room!

The employees were nice and friendly. Our room was quiet and peaceful. I loved the location. The food around there is sooooooooo yummy. It was affordable too which is always great. Expect to enjoy going out and enjoying Chicago with this hotel. You'll love to sleep there but not the place to just stay in! Your in Chicago. You only need a good trusting hotel with friendly ppl and places to see.

Great Place
Great Location with awesome restaurants all around that area. The hotel has some great Baker Furniture but it is all a little beat up. They need to buff it up a bit and the hotel would be great again.

Chicago Tremont Hotel
Hotel Staff is great and helpful. Great location , good value for money in Downtown 1 block from Michigan Ave and Watertower. I would stay there again !

Unbeatable location for the price
Basic clean room...sedate lobby...good Continental breakfast included. Very nice staff. But the best thing is the location...less than a block off Mag Mile & bus stops.and 2 blocks from Oak Street Beach. I'll stay there again.

Great location
The location is excellent. The hotel is very old and the rooms are clean but depressing. The breakfast at Ditka's was quite limited and, after the first day, I went elsewhere for breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The shopping along Michigan Avenue is fabulous. The restaurants along Rush Street and Wabash are close and excellent. I even walked back from the Art Institute along Michigan Avenue and enjoyed it. For the price, the hotel was a good deal only as a place to sleep.
