Great Visit

We only had one night but the hotel lived up to are expecations! Very friendly lobby personal and the concierge was very helpful. We left our bags with them since we arrived so early and then they called when the room was ready - perfect. I would recommend this hotel and we will be back, beware of the parking - we parked for 24 hours but missed it by 5 min and it cost another $21.00 for that extra part of the hour - not the hotels fault at all just a warning.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Make sure you visit the top of the Hancock Building for cocktails! You will get a magnificent view of the city (day or night)! We did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot say if their food is as good as their view. We did see the Blue Angels practicing for the air show - it was spectacular!!!

Good, but not great

Good, friendly place and excellent location. Central to all tourist spots in the Loop and Northwestern. Just be careful as some rooms have a window facing a wall, and the view was depressing. Staff is pleasant, however.

Thank you, Talbott!

From our first moments there, we knew we had made the right choice with Talbott. The staff was excellent and friendly, and the room was grand. Our room was kept clean and replenished. The hotel is walking distance to the Magnificent Mile, Oak Street Beach, the Hancock Observatory and so much more. Loved the TV and Internet-ready Apple hookup- :) The only issue we had was with water pressure in the shower, but that was easily forgotten amidst everything else. It would have been nicer to have an in-house gym, but Equinox was worth the 5-minute walk. Definitely recommended!
