Perfect Location

This hotel is centrally located, close to all the fun and restaurants on Rush St and then shopping on Michigan Avenue. You can walk to it all from The Talbott. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and the deep Jacuzzi Tub was so relaxing after a hard day of shopping and sightseeing. The hotel's Market Restaurant served good food at a reasonable price and had sidewalk seating.

Weekend in Chicago

Very nice older hotel. Very well maintained and up to date. Nice bed, fine sheets and towels. Very clean. Helpful and very friendly staff. Walked to Navy Pier, Contemporary Art Museum,River Boat tour, and Michigan Ave.shopping. Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again. Took an easy bus ride to the Bean, Grant Park, and the Art institute. Went salsa dancing in the neighborhood.

Great place!

I stayed here a year ago as well. I had a larger room the first stay, but the one this time (a standard, I think) was perfectly spacious for a city hotel and just as well equipped. You cannot beat the location, right between the Waldorf and the Four Seasons, with great access to the Mag. Mile and Gold Coast. The staff, however, is their greatest asset. They are always friendly and helpful. It is a moderately high end boutique hotel without the attitude you so often find. I have stayed in about eight hotels in Chicago (including the Swissotel and Drake) over the last ten years and this is this is my favorite so far.
