Fantastic Place to stay

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well staffed. The room we stayed in was well appointed with a ton of extra touches which impressed my wife and I. The bed was extremely comfortable. The two restaurants located in the hotel are amazing. I can't say enough. Quite possibly one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

City Luxury

We lived in Chicago for 15 years, so I'd like to say I know the city pretty well. This is the best hotel in the city. Luxurious hotel, great location in middle of Michigan Avenue, prompt staff, and best of all--an INCREDIBLE spa and fitness center. You cannot miss this part. Enjoy the fitness center/spa first so as not to miss out. It's fantastic!

Chicago's best hotel hands down

I have eaten several times at the Peninsula and have always wanted to "retire to my room” after dinner, well I finally got the chance and the Pen did not disappoint. This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the best shopping in town. From check in to check out, everything ran like clockwork. The rooms are clean, well maintained and in good working order. The food at their Lobby restaurant was wonderful, as always. On Friday and Saturday nights they offer a chocolate and jazz experience that is not be missed. The Spa is pristine and the staff is very professional, the pictures on their web site don’t do it justice, we loved it. If you can swing it this is the place to go when staying in Chicago.

Stayed one night for anniversary

What a beautiful full service hotel! This is our second time staying at the Penisula. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that we did not get our turndown, but it was not the end of the world. The food at the hotel restaurants was excellent, and the SPA is wonderful. We will be back again.

It is a very good hotel

This hotel is really good. Very nice, clean and comfortable. However, because of the one-way in the Chicago, it is really hard to find the hotel without proper GPS.

Great Hotel

Everything about the Pen is top drawer. I don't know how they can actually, physically improve it but the arrival and check in process is their only slightly weak point

Friendly, great service and convenient

The Peninsula Chicago is comfortable, clean, and hospitable, with a friendly staff and excellent service. The location, less than a block off Michigan Ave is very convenient. The concierge was helpful and prompt. A minor negative is the necessity to take a first elevator from the street reception lobby up to the main lobby which is apparently on the fifth level of the building. After walking through the main lobby it is then necessary of course to take an elevator to your room. There was occasionally a rush hour for access to the first street level elevators. The spa and fitness center was outstanding. The Bar was a pleasant experience, but The Lobby Dining was only so-so and very rushed on a Saturday night.
