Overpriced...smelled like tobacco and elevators were slow and squeaky. Our ac rattled. $300 a night

Could have been more sanitary. Elevators were sticky and had a bug that looked like a roach. Not my kind of Hotel for $250 a night. Room was tiny and AC rattled all night no cofee maker, microwave etc.

Historic Hotel - Great Experience

Hotel is well-maintained and the rooms are very clean. It is well-adorned with lots of nostalgic photos and great artwork. A good location for seeing downtown Chicago as well as Millennium Park and Navy Pier.

Wonderful hotel in a great location

Staying at the executive floor has great advantages. For one thing, you get daily breakfast and evening snacks that can substitute for dinner. All day refreshments are there for enjoyment and they have loads of fruits for the taking. Staff was so litigious and wonderful too. Grant Park is close by and they have open air concerts every evening. Free!

short overnight stay

My wife and I stayed here for just one night, so our experience was limited. That said, the hotel is quite beautiful and our room was nice, though fairly small. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in, however, was friendly, funny, and helpful. Location-wise, it's right in the Loop, which was perfect for what we needed. So, all in all, it was a great option for us.

Not worth the money

Room was very small and did not come with the ammenities such as a dvd player or microwave. Blanket and sheets had burn holes in them and the parking was $42/day but in another building. We also experienced hotel staff that treated my family like they didn't belong there. If you are looking for convenience it is in the heart of downtown Chicago and you could get around without a vehicle if need be.

Weekend Getaway

Great location. Great amenities. Steps away from museums and attractions, public transit, restaurants and shops. Shops and food within the building as well. Overall, a wonderful weekend.
