Perfect place
The Allerton has such an amazing location. Right outside the door you are greeted by the apple store to your right, and to your left is the woderful Burberry. Just blocks from the state theater, it is the perfect place to experience Chicago. The hotel staff helpful, treat you as if you belonged to upper east side new york. The rooms are quaint homey and comfortable. A 1st rate recommendation for anyone traveling to chicago on a budget, or even not on a budget.

Good location
Right in the middle of the Miracle Mile. Good restaurants, interesting sites close by. Friendly competent staff. All in all a good time. We didn't eat at their restaurants or use their pool, etc.

Very well located
When we check in we were assigned to a room that was very dark, the TV was located to one side of the beds in a very weird and unconfortable location, the room was very narrow and I could smell that it was a smokers room. I inmediately went to the lobby and explained all the problems inmediatly I was given another room better located, and not only that, it had a separate area with a sofa, a chair, a table and another TV. The location of the hotel was excellent, we could walk almost everywhere and the employees were very nice and helpfull...

Great location
The Allerton Chicago was very comfortable. Would have liked to have coffee maker in the room but l'Occitaine toiletries made up for it. The location was perfect with everything in walking distance.

Very Convienient
The suite at the Allerton was very nice. Plenty of room but would have liked a suitcase stand. It was very quiet, we were there on a Thursday night. The bath robes were a nice touch and the location just can't be beat at any price. The service at the restaurant for breakfast wasn't what I expected for such a nice Mag Mile Hotel.

In the heart of it all
The Allerton Hotel on the Magnificient Mile in Chicago was located right on the center of Michgan Avenue. All the shopping and restaurants were just minutes away on foot. The theater district was about a five minute cab ride and Wrigley Field was about a fifteen to twenty minute cab ride. The hotel room was clean and roomy with a larger than expected bathroom, large closet, desk, and two double beds.

The Ginos East of Chicago Pizza was just around the corner. Wonderful for adults and families with a fun atmosphere. Plenty of seating and we never waited more than a few minutes for a table.

Great location
I was so impressed with the concierge both in the evenings and daytime. I could not have picked a better hotel on the magnificent mile. It was a perfect location for a multitude of things.

Wonderful 1st Visit
The Allerton staff made my first visit to Chicago very pleasant. Unfortunately this was not a pleasure trip and chose to stay 2 extra days. The staff made everything so easy for me.

Great business amenities in a friendly environment
The Hotel Allerton in Chicago was a very relaxing and tidy little retreat in the heart of downtown. Within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile and downtown businesses, the Allerton makes a great stop for the business traveler for a shopping trip.
