Modern upscale hotel
The Allerton is a modern upscale hotel. The room was luxurious. The marble bathroom shower was very large. The location was excellent,shopping & restaurants were walking distance.

The Rosebud Steakhouse is a restaurant you must try if your a steak lover. They offer the best cut of prime steak. Fantastic!

clean, classy and delightful
i noticed the beautiful decor and friendly service upon arriving to the Allerton hotel. The location is perfect. Its in safe, fun and prime area in downtown chicago. I was pleased with the staff in the lobby they were all very helpful and accomodating. The rooms are lovely and consistanly kept up well. The beds are very comfortable. Everything in the room works well, water heating air tv radio iron etc. Checking in and out was as simple as can be. I would definitely go back to the Allerton.

Theres a wonderful restaurant nearby the Allerton where one can try chicago style pizza call Giordanos, Delicious! There is also the famous Ghiradelli shop nearby for dessert. There is also a small but authentic italian restaurant called Volare, great food and service.

Great location, friendly staff,
The best location to visit Chicago, Everything (restaurants, entertainments and shopping is within walking distance and if we did not know where to find a specific place, the staff was friendly and willing to help at all times.

Great staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The work out facility was great and the location was perfect for shopping and dinning. The only downfall of the Allerton was the tiny rooms. They are just barely big enough for two people.

The subway was just a short 2 block walk, which was great to get us all over Chicago at a very cheap fare.

Unbeatable location for the price
The Allerton Hotel was great stay for a get away. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a perfect view of Downtown. I had a great stay with the Allerton and can't wait to go back.

The Allerton Hotel Chicago, Magnificent
Great location - right on the Magnificent Mile, close to the subway. The only disadvantage of that - it's a bit noisy (for people used to live in small quiet towns). The only thing I did not like about the room - no refrigerator.
