Fantastic location and solid service!

Couldn't have been better! Wonderful view of the Chicago skyline, large and clean rooms with nice furniture. Bathroom was nicely appointed too. Front desk staff is very friendly (and attractive). Stellar service! Location is absolutely fantastic and all around a great place to stay!

We stayed at the hotel on business and stayed in the King Bedroom Suite. The view was incredible. My co-worker and I had PLENTY of room and 2 bathrooms to get ready in the morning. The staff was very nice. Taxi cabs were hard to come by. The poor guy out front had to wear out his whistle trying to hail cabs for the line of people in the morning. He tried hard, but we were a few minutes late to our meeting because of waiting for a cab. Not the hotel's fault. Atmosphere is wonderful - elevators are cool! Something that could be improved woul dbe a puble restroom off the main lobby somewhere. We had to go downstairs and through a 'maze' to find it and were locked out once. We had to get someone to unlock it and let us in - who was very apologetic and nice about it - but still.

Retreat during professional meetings

The dedicated elevators really help speed a visitor to the upper floors. Bed was very comfortable and in room refrigerator kept take out meals for next day's lunch. The lunches served during the conference were superb!

Hotel for a Meeting

Picked the hotel because of proximity to the exhibition. Staff were friendly and room was clean and bed was comfortable.I didn't use the amenities as I was there for the exhibition. Good hotel as long as you can get it for a good price

Would stay here again!

I stayed here because someone said the beds were really comfortable. I totally agree. The hotel was also in a great location - perfect for both the business and leisure traveler.

Very Nice Hotel

The hotel was very nice with a friendly staff. The location is what was great for my family. I was able to take care of business and the wife and kids were a free trolley ride away from everything.

Top notch - but ala carte

This was my second stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, room had great view of Chicago river. Walk to Mag Mile and Navy Pier. Beds were extremely nice. TV was a big flat screen. Front desk and service personnel were very nice. The pool is on the 42nd floor and was extremely clean. The fitness room attendent was really nice, offered free towels & fresh fruit. My only complaint is common to most luxury hotels- there was no free internet access. You either had to pay for wireless or use the Business Center for $5 per 15 minutes. Parking was $50/day. I should have used the public parking underneath the hotel. I would rate this hotel 5 stars, it was that good.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Go straight to Mag Mile or Navy Pier. Taxi's are charging gas surcharges now and extra fees for more than 2 passengers. A trip to the Merchandise Mart was $8.00

Great Hotel for the Price

Greeted upon arrival and valet the car. 1/2 price parking for Hybrids...yeah! In and out privileges, a definate plus. The hotel stresses "green". I like that...a conscientious hotel. Luxurious room and clean. You can make coffee/hot tea in the room by the cup...great benefit for coffee drinkers. Ate at the hotel restaurant. Ordered business lunch at $19.95. What a great lunch, which included desert. Hospitable staff. When leaving, valet brought the car back with 2 bottles of cold water for the ride home. How nice. I loved the hotel and will definately stay again.
