Great Weekend Stay

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was walking distance to many things to do. We used the valet service and they were very helpful and quick. The concierge service was excellent, again very helpful. This was our second time staying there and I will definitely be staying there again.

Engagement

It was a good experience in the sense that it was the night I got engaged, the hotel itself was ordinary.

Family city break

Our family booked two rooms one king size and one double. We were given rooms side by side which was great as we had forgotten to ask! The location of the hotel is very convenient for everything we wanted to do while in Chicago. The staff were friendly and helpful and all in all we really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Chicago.

Nice 3-4 star hotel along the river

Very nice hotel located smack downtown and just a short walk to the Magnificent Mile. I reserved a king-size bed, but was offered an upgrade for either a suite without a river view, or a double with a river view. I chose the double with a river view. NIce view on 15th floor. Time was limited, so I chose room service for both dinner and breakfast. Meals were (expectedly) expensive, but prompt and tasty. For a $250/night hotel, I joked with my family that I expected a jacuzzi and a massage, along with a mint on my pillow! By the way, I chose to utilize a shuttle service and paid for a round trip ticket from O'Hare. This was the best money I spent. Drivers were good, departure, arrival and morning pickup were timely. I was able to see some of the downtown and city architecture/sights while others were being dropped off, which was fun.

Sheraton stay

Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers is a fine hotel and has a great location. Only complaints: there were only 3 towels; we were charged for a room for 4 guests. Rooms are a bit too small, relative to the price.

Good location

Good base for Chcago sight seeing. Room a bit worn but clean. Some staff helpful and polite. Otherwise, a large and unremarkable hotel.

Buy a 3 or 7 day CTA travel pass as public transport is pretty good. Also avoids the extortionate cost of taxi to/from airport and is often faster.

GREAT LOCATION IN CHICAGO

The location is really great. Close to Miracle Mile shopping and Navy Pier. One of my favorite things is the Riverwalk outside the "back" door and a Starbuck's just inside. Great to have coffee and make friends with the dogs and humans! Next time I would choose a room with a River view..the "Lake view" really didn't have a lake view. The only problem was the bathroom (which is the reason for the "ordinary" rating-otherwise the housekeeping staff was top notch!). There had been a leak from the room next door and then our toilet over-flowed. There was a mildew smell, so it had happened before. The staff responded to the overflow very quickly and the agent at checkout made a note to fix the problem. I was a little surprised that there was no small frig or microwave. The staff was great! The lobby was beautiful and there was a very nice locker room with a sauna, but no whirl pool.
