Sheraton

Room was clean and had a comfortable bed. My neighbors were a little loud and had a habit of leaving all of their room-service trays in the hall which was not picked up for several hours and a few people apparently tripped over them (noisily) in their haste to get to/away from their rooms which was a nuissance. Otherwise a quiet stay. Staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Great Location, Great City

Wow! This was truely a great hotel with awesome service and great facilities. It is located at the begining of the Chicago River, a short walk from Navy Peir, Michigan Avenue, Rush Street, and many, and I mean many great restaurants. I would definitely come here again. Although we didn't bring children, there were many young families who seemed to be having a great time as well. One note of advice: we used the Go Airport transport from O'Hare to the hotel and back. Be aware that the time they give you isn't very accurate. Our transport was over 40 minutes late on our trip back to the airport. Luckily we scheduled the transport 3 hours prior to departure and traffic was light so we made it in time. So leave yourself enough time and don't trust the time that the transport people give you. This however, has absolutely nothing to do with the wonderful people at the Sheraton Towers Hotel.

Great place to eat is Phil Stefani's Restaurant at 437 Rush Street, noted for their steak and Italian food. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food...perfect albeit pricey.

"Brief family get-away"

The hotel was great. Despite the fact that it was packed for the St. Patrick's Day Parade, it was awesome. Steps away from the Magnificent Mile and the Navy Pier and great eateries, I would stay there again with my three boys--ages 11, 13, and 17. The only draw-back, as is the case at any hotel in Chicago, is the price for parking . . . $49 per night!

No free parking

The hotel is well-kept and very nice, but is too expensive across the board. Forget food & drinks unless you don't care what things cost. Example - There is nothing you can do to a waffle to justify charging $21. A beer is $8-$10. My biggest complaint is that the Sheraton showed up on Cheap Tickets as having free parking - not true-- it's around $35/day, no in/out.

Sheraton

Location was perfect. Hallways were teeming with loud youngsters and sleep was difficult. Hotel management did very little to control the noise and/or assign rooms in a separate area/floor.

Great room but expensive Internet

The hotel is really nice. THe room iq much larger than i expected. And great location too. But there is no internet in room, you have to pay $12.95 per day in order to have internet in room. THe charge is too expensive.
