Perfect Location
Went to Chicago for a conference. This hotel was affordable, close enough to the other conference hotels that I never felt like I was disconnected from the action, and in a nice area. The room was great, but the cleaning staff had clearly done the minimum when cleaning my room before I checked in (the previous guest's trash was still in the kitchen garbage can and the counter was oddly sticky) but other than that the room and the hotel's amenities were great. And really, this hotel is all about the location, but the kitchen was a great way to save a bit of money on eating out.

Great hotel
Great hotel! It's perfect location just blocks of Michigan Avenue with walking distance of shopping, restaurants, clubs. The room was large and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free Internet, breakfast and even dinner at Tuesday an Thursday makes our stay pleasant. We will recommend this hotel to everyone.

great location, includes buffet breakfast
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and the staff was very accommodating in getting us two rollaway beds. We were quite pleased with our stay.

Could not have been any better.
Free hot breakfast, free 'BBQ' with free cold beer on tap, free coffee in the lobby 24/7, free microwave popcorn in the room. Free workout room. Free WiFi. I think you get the idea.. Perfect location on Mag Mile/Streeterville. They even gave us a room with a view of the lake. Amazing, friendly service - asked for more pillows and soap and they showed up at the room almost before I hung up the phone! Housekeeping was wonderful - actually asked us what time we preferred to have the room cleaned (We were in town for a wedding and had a few late nights..) I didn't want to leave!

Great hotel
We stayed here for a weekend getaway with some friends who stayed at a nearby hotel. It's walking distance from Water Tower Place and the rest of the Michigan Avenue shopping as well as many restaurants. The free, full breakfast at the hotel was very convenient and had a good variety of food. We didn't take much advantage of our room's kitchen, but it was definitely nice to have a fridge to store our leftovers. The bed was firm but very comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Short drive from hotel
If you're planning on going to the Shedd Aquarium, be sure to buy your tickets in advance. We tried to buy tickets at the door, but the jellyfish exhibit had just opened and the wait was an hour and a half! We ended up taking a nice walk along the lake shore back to our hotel, but we wished we'd planned ahead for the aquarium.

what a bargain
This was such an incredible bargain for our girls' weekend in the city. The location can't be beat for proximity to the lakefront, the shopping on the Mag Mile, public transportation. There were so many great features - free delivery from Pompeii for our room service, full kitchen, grocery service also with free delivery, complimentary hot breakfast, and more. We got there in the morning hoping to drop off our luggage while we shopped and until check-in and were extremely pleased to find out that our room was already available. The staff were incredibly solicitous, pleasant, and polite. The only little thing that would have made it better would be to have herbal tea or hot cocoa in the room in addition to the coffee and black tea. We were so satisfied with our stay!

Short walk from hotel
Don't be afraid to use the L (the subway/elevated tracks). If all you see of the city is the Loop, Mag Mile, and so on, you have missed so much of the diversity and beauty of Chicago! The Chicago stop on the Red Line is a very short walk from the hotel; you can take it south to Chinatown (dim sum!), connect to other lines and ride out to Wicker Park/Bucktown on the Blue Line (great restaurants and consignment shops), etc. It's not scary. :)
