Great stay in Chicago

Our room was very quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bar was nice with a good wine selection. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Large portions and very tasty. The location was aslo excellent. Close to the lake and Michigan Avenue.

It was Good

The hotel was in a great location. We ran into a problem with no fridge in our room but they upgraded us to the deluxe suite after complaining to the general manager. Don't expect club lounges open on weekends. TVs are also not up to date with technology. Overall, it was a good stay.

Wonderful night

The hotel was wonderful, was there for 25th wedding annivsary. It was walking distance to everything by the park , michigan ave , state street. The room was perfect, small but nice ,over looking the river and the street. We need a refrigerator for leftovers from Mortons steak house called down stairs and they brought it up right away. Had breakfest from room service the next day it was good and on time . The only thing I would say was bad was the parking fee of 49.00. I know that parking down town is high but when you pay 229.00 a night for you hotel some of that cost should cover parking.

Excellent location, helpful staff

This hotel is within walking distance of the theater district, many stores, and Millenium Park. We asked for a river view room and were not disappointed. The view from our window was fantastic. Parking is expensive, but it's expensive everywhere in Chicago. The staff was helpful with tips about where to go and how to get around.

Very Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, spacious rooms with a great view of the city. Close to Michigan Ave or State Street shopping. Located in the theater district if you are there to take in a show. Only complaints - service in the bar was SLOW and the shower sometimes had cold water (intermittently). The breakfast was great and super wait staff. I would stay there again.

Review

Overall, the location was excellent and the staff super friendly. Hotel room was clean, although we had problems working the thermostat. The only thing we didn't like, was the fact that when we booked it, it stated it came with free breakfast. When we checked in, they knew nothing about it and since I hadn't printed out the email that stated breakfast was free, they refused to honor it.
