I couldn't use the internet.
Very clean and Nice saff but I couldn't use the internet in the room. I tried many times but I couldn't. I tried to passward and open the Red roof inn Home page but I couldn't.It was very uncofortable. There are close to Shopping and tourist area. It was cofortable: )

Trip to Chicago
No room service for three days, left the room 8:00-9:00am for the day and came back around 10:00 pm everyday on the second day had to call for some clean towels and told them the room has not been cleaned for two days. The next day the room was still not cleaned, left the next morning.

In the middle of everything!
Great for the price. We didn't stay in the hotel long, but the stay couldn't have been better. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great! You can walk every where. Don't know why the rating and reviews aren't that great.

Go to Gino's East and get a deep dish pizza! Also Hard Rock Cafe isn't that far. Might have to wait long but it was worth it. We couldn't find many breakfast spots but we did find this very popular place called Eggsperience Cafe. Walk down the Magnificent Mile for shopping and go to the Navy Pier.

Good...
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. However they didnt clean my room whenever I got out of it to late. Everything else, is pretty good, is not perfect but is good for the price.

Nice place at last minute
We decided to stay downtown at the last minute an this hotel was extremely close to the magnificent mile and a good bargain. Would recomend for price.

Shivering in Chi
Cold & Cramped
Room was very small and cramped. Had to turn sideways to pass each other. Never could get the temperature to go above 62F. Was at 60 when we checked in. Chosen for price and distance from 2 day event. After $36.00 for overnite parking was added, I could have chosen a better place.

Good Location, But Not A Comfortable Place to Stay
This hotel is located in the Magnificence Mile very close to Michigan Avenue. While I loved the location, the paint job in the rooms was horrible. There was cluttered dust in some corners and overall it wasn't that comfortable. However, for the few hours that I needed to stay there it was a pretty good value overall. The room was reasonably clean and had an iron, a bed and a shower. For this particular stay, I didn't need anything fancy. For the price, I recommend staying here for a short visit at a convenient location.

Sorely Disappointed
Hotel was dirty and falling apart. The online pics must have been taken many years ago. Our room was so small my husband and I had to coordinate our movements to go from the bed to the bathroom, not to mention dirty and falling down around us Elevator was broken for over a day on a weekend. Definitely don't recommend this hotel.

good location,Crazy elevator noise!
location can not be any better, 1 block from Michican Avenue. woke up by the elevator noise in the morning. beding is not quite clean... a place to sleep, but take your own pillow cover~~~~....
