Overview

Menin Hospitality operates several luxury boutique hotels in Miami and a single hotel in Chicago, the Raffaello Hotel.

This cozy yet luxurious boutique hotel is situated right on Michigan Avenue and is located as close to the best attractions and amenities on the Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile as you could wish for.

From its highly rated rooftop lounge to its impeccably appointed rooms and suites, the Raffaello is a definite standout in a city known for its incredible accommodations.

What the Raffaello lacks in size, it more than makes up for in amenities. Drumbar, its speakeasy-style rooftop lounge, was dubbed the best new bar in America by Details Magazine. With its intimate seating, wood paneling, crackling fireplace and bar that affords phenomenal views of the city and lake, it's easy to see why.

Worst in Chicago

Would not recommend Sun, Dec 6, 2015
Pros:None Cons:Flea ridden couches, ceiling has water damage, stained floored, rooftop hangout is nothing special and overcrowded, location is way to far from the riverfront to be convenient if that's your goal, view is an ally or a building. Looks great in pictures horrible in reality.

Wonderful hotel. Lovely staff. Centrally located (for my needs). Nice old building.... although the elevators were a bit small and slow, but I'll just chalk that up as old building charm.

Girl's trip

Would recommend Sat, Nov 21, 2015
This little boutique hotel was perfect for a girl's trip to the windy city! Very close to everything, & within walking distance of great restaurants and Miracle Mile shopping. The staff was very accommodating in every way, even printing my boarding pass for my flight home. If you are looking for spacious and luxury, this is not it. But if you want a hotel that is friendly and warm, has a great bar, The Drumbar, with spectacular views, this is it! And don't forget the morning coffee and donut shop in the lobby!

The only thing I don't feel good is they don't have a speaker box that can fit iphone6. Except that everything is perfect.

Good hotel, great price

Would recommend Thu, Sep 10, 2015
Everything was very satisfactory. Nothing special but I had a good experience and it was well worth the price. The hotel has a nice rooftop bar but not to many other amenities if thats what you are looking for. The room was pretty clean but not the best I've ever stayed in.

Loved the location and upstairs bar. Rooms and hotel are clean and well decorated. Check in was bit cumbersome but I was early so that is to be expected.

Fun family trip

Would recommend Sun, Aug 16, 2015
It was a great trip! The hotel was in a great location. The room was a nice size and clean. No breakfast served at the hotel. A really great diner just a little walk on corner of chestnut and state streets. We walked to the navy pier but it was a bit of a hike. The go Chicago cards were well worth it. We saved a lot oh money and saw all the best sights and skipped some of the lines using them.

I was expecting more, but it was nice.

Would recommend Sat, Jul 25, 2015
The room was fairly clean, there was however a huge stain on the living room chair that was pretty gross, and only one chair for sitting at the table in a suite. Having to get on an elevator to go to another floor for ice can be a pain, especially when it is what many in the hotel jokingly referred to as the world's slowest and smallest elevator. The staff is very friendly, and I heard wonderful things from other guests about the restaurant. Some may find the noise from the drum bar a little annoying if you had kids or were not out late. I was disappointed when I saw what some friends had booked for less money in other hotels. All in all it was comfortable, clean were it counted most, valet had my car there super fast, doorman had cabs there in a flash, the staff was very friendly...but I can't help but feel that is a minimum expectation for the price I paid.
