Menin Hospitality operates several luxury boutique hotels in Miami and a single hotel in Chicago, the Raffaello Hotel. This cozy boutique hotel is situated right on Michigan Avenue, very close to some of the most celebrated attractions and amenities on the Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile. From its highly-rated rooftop lounge to its impeccably appointed rooms and suites, the Raffaello is a definite standout in a city known for its incredible accommodations. What the Raffaello lacks in size, it more than makes up for in amenities. Drumbar, its speakeasy-style rooftop lounge, was dubbed 'the best new bar in America' by Details Magazine. With its intimate seating, wood paneling, crackling fireplace and a bar that offers sensational views of the city and lake, it's easy to see why.

Great Customer service

When we checked into the hotel it was very early in the morning and check in was not until at least noon. We forgot to call for early check in so we were somewhat concerned. The hotel staff asked us to wait so they could look up the details. We waited all of ten minutes and the staff was so apologetic for the delay, they upgraded us to a suite. Not only were we able to check in early, we had a suite for our very minor inconvenience. The location was perfect, the staff was knowledgable and accomadating, the room was clean and very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting chicago.

great weekend stay

The Rafaello Hotel is beautiful from the entrance, thru the lobby and to the room. The decor is lovely. The elevators are tiny, but this is typical of an older hotel. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious. The rain shower is the best. So much nicer than the typical water saver at most hotels. There is no dining facility with the hotel, but they are planning to add a restaurant. There ia an adequate suppy of beverages and snacks that are not complimentary. It would be nice to have a small area in the refrigerator to store your own beverage or small food item. The amenities of the ironing board, iron and hair dryer were most appreciated. The room is a little small, but has adequate storeage. It is difficult to find a place for your luggage. Wireless is available right in the room and there is a very adequate desk. The staff is excellent. The doorman and bellman were very friendly and helpful. The valet parking attendants were very prompt in bringing the car around for us. The staff at the desk are efficient and friendly. The only disatifaction was that we would have like a later checkout time. One o'clock would have been helpful, though the staff did store our belongings until we were ready to leave. The location is ideal. The Hancock and Watertower Place are a block away and there are many great restaurants and shopping nearby We will definitely stay there on our next visit.

Convenient place to stay in Chicago

We enjoyed the hotel; it was well located for walking in the city; the room was comfortable except it needed another chair, carpet cleaning, and possibly more room! Breakfast was convenient and not too expensive, across the intersection in a nearby hotel! We had a delicious dinner in the hotel dining room; we commented on the unfortunate shape of the serving dishes, and were rewarded with a really delicious desert! We had another fine dinner just one block north. Food was definitely good. We're fairly fussy, and were quite comfortable and happy.

Mother daughter weekend

Really nice place near the hub of shopping! One block off of Michigan Ave but far enough away to not hear horns and noise all night. The robes in the room were a bit hit as was the Kerig coffee maker. It will be the first place I check on for my next visit. One drawaback, the set up of the room (kinda small) was so that the full length mirror was not usable. This is a must for girls going out on the town right :)

The Raffaello Hotel is Worth A Visit

The hotel was well located near Michigan Avenue. The rooms were spacious, neat, well appointed, and clean. The staff was exquisitely attentive. I didn't eat in the restaurant--with so many nearby choices they competition is fierce--and it didn't open for breakfast, which was a disappointment. Unfortunately, I didn't use the fitness center or pool. They did charge $9.95 for 24 hours of Internet access, which seems a bit petty.

My review of Raffaello Hotel

The suite at the The Raffaello Hotel was very comfortable. It was modern and well appointed. However there was no restaurant or cafe and were forced to have breakfast across the street at the Hilton. I do understand that a restaurant was planned at the Raffaello, also a larger exercise room. It was in an ideal location, walking distance to the lake and the Museum of Contemperary Art.

A great weekend stay

Quick getaway weekend in Chicago. Great location, amazingly competent staff and eager to assist. Breakfast on weekend only by room service, but there are so many restaurants nearby that is not a problem. Will definitely be back again. Top notch in all respects.
