Great location

Great for a weekend get-a way. Location on Mag Mile perfect for shopping or dinning. All suites which are "cozy", but very clean and nicely appointed. I found only 2 draw backs for the hotel, first the valet parking was way too expensive at $49.00 per day and second the mini fridge could not hold any food that we took back to room. Would absolutely stay again!

Best location to see all the sights

It was right in the heart of town. Walked Magnificent Mile first evening in Chicago. Room was just perfect. Loved the suite set up. Lots of windows to view the night lights. Very comfortable. And the beds were fabulous, most comfortable to retire in each night. Will stay there again in the future.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Be prepared to walk a bit to see everything downtown. Plenty of places to stop along the way to eat and rest. So many things to see.

Great Labor Day Weekend

My son and I spent the long Labor Day weekend in Chicago. The Omni offered a central location with easy walk or short cab ride to everything. The only negative I have is the strong chlorine smell on the 5th floor (that's where the pool is located). I could smell the chlorine in our room (which was on the 5th floor). Housekeeping tidies up the room twice a day, so we always came back to a clean room. Staff were very friendly and more than ready to assist with any needs or answer any questions.

strongly recommended

Excellent reception, very helpful concierge who provided my guests with free tickets to comedy show, reserved achitectural tour etc However, I do wonder if I am the only guest who likes a brightly lit room with a central light or a lichtswitch to turn on all lights at once. I do not like making a tour of the room looking for the lamps -

Very nice hotel

Omni Chicago is very comfortable with alot of class. Bedroom, separate sitting room and a very large bathroom are all impressive. The bathroom is especially appreciated considering a vast counterspace able to easily accomodate all our bathroom stuff(i.e.,creams, shaving stuff, haircare things,etc.). We don't care for the dining room (two years ago the menu was great, but so-called improvements are not impressive). But this is Chicago, and great dining options are everywhere.
