Great family getaway

The Omni staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and liked the set up. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We enjoyed the pool and would have liked the hot tub but it was under construction. The location of the Omni was wonderful. Enjoyed our stay and will stay when we return to Chicago. Thanks for an enjoyable vacation in Chicago.

Business and Personal trip

Very disappointing! From the beginning the hotel didn't meet our expectation. Upon arrival to our room, we found a card (addressed to someone else!) and champagne glasses. We called the front desk and they told us to keep it and those guests had changed rooms. They had us in a two double room when we booked a king. We were told they were out of the kings and we would have to wait until the next morning to move. No compensation was offered to us or an apology. The gym was rusty and the equipment outdated. My hands were full of rust after I finished lifting. The pool and spa were closed for remodeling. This wasn't explained to us when we made our reservation or when we checked in. The room service was slow and very overpriced. 60 dollars for 2 breakfast orders that arrived 40 minutes late. The rolling table brought into our room was too big and we were unable to even walk around it. We asked them to take the table with them and we were informed they were unable to meet that request. We had to keep the table with us until our maid serviced our room at 2pm! Very diappointed overall for the price of the hotel. I would say stay at the WIT instead!

Location, Location, Location

When heading to Chicago, be it for shopping, business or general entertainment, this is the place to be. Convenient walking distances to so many great places and a staff that is more than willing to help you find your way to the best sights, smells, and sounds of the city, or to any specific destination.

A great hotel in the perfect location

Excellent staff, very attentive and were quick to fulfill our every request. Valet parking was rather expensive ($54.00 a day) but retrieval was effortless and fast. We could walk to many of the places we wanted to visit and shop - and there's a great restaurant on every block in Chicago!

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Avec! Small plates, crowded, noisy, shared tables - but an incredible dining experience. Try the stuffed dates and the calamari.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. It was in the part of the city we wanted.

The experience was very enjoyable and we enjoyed our stay. It was in the part of the city that was accessible to all of the things we wanted to do. If there were any thing that was negative it was the very slow elevators and our room view was limited.

Shopping is all within walking distance . I recommend taking the taxi to the navy pier though. Also when it's time to check out make sure u call for your vehicle atleast 20 minutes in advance or you will be standing outside for a while. There is no seating in the lobbie!
