Great deal and fab location
We lived in Chicago for 10 years and went back to visit with friends. The Omni makes you very welcome, incredibly happy and friendly staff, can't do enough for you. Location is second to none on the Magnificient Mile and great for the evenings walking to bars and restaurants without taking cabs...everything one could wish for!

Not one thing to complain about...
I don't often review hotels unless I have an extremely bad stay, or an outstanding stay. Anything in the middle is normally just average. But our stay at the Omni Chicago last weekend was so outstanding that I felt they deserved my review! Every single staff member I encountered was cheerful and helpful every time. Food was excellent and when they had bath salts waiting in my bathroom after a long day of walking, I could have kissed them!! Being a "select" guest (free sign-up) got me a pot of hot coffee and juice every morn at my door. Beds were so comfy; quiet room; attentive staff in every way. Could not have asked for anything more!

Shopping is all within walking distance . I recommend taking the taxi to the navy pier though. Also when it's time to check out make sure u call for your vehicle atleast 20 minutes in advance or you will be standing outside for a while. There is no seating in the lobbie!

Magnificent Chicago
We arrived early- they let us check in. We wanted to have access to the minibar for cooling- no problem, they brought us a fridge! The bed was the biggest cosiest nest you could imagine So why do we only give it 4 stars for amenities? The pool was out of action during the day and only available in the evening. That very small gripe aside, we had a brilliant stay at the Omni in Chicago, in fact we are already looking at the schedule for next year. Try it out for yourself- You'll see what I mean

Great family getaway
The Omni staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and liked the set up. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We enjoyed the pool and would have liked the hot tub but it was under construction. The location of the Omni was wonderful. Enjoyed our stay and will stay when we return to Chicago. Thanks for an enjoyable vacation in Chicago.
