Nice comfortable bed. Good pillows. Clean updated bathroom. Close to everything. The shower was the best one I've ever seen in a hotel. And it still had the charm of an old hotel. Nicest hotel experience I've had in a long time.

the room was nice, the dining service and food at breakfast was excellent but a bit pricey. the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed, which i like, but was almost too relaxed in that the concierge was sometimes hard to find. the location was ideal for what we wanted

the hotel is virtually right at one end of chicago's so-called magnificent mile so the hotel is located well for shoppers aimed for that destination

Good value for the money
Excellent location, nice room, good value. But the $9.00 a day for the internet is a bit nickle and dime stuff. All in all a good value in an excellent location.

Great buy
It was honestly a really great buy. The room was perfect and the shower is lovely. They supply drinks already in the room. :) I would go there again all the time if I could!

Nice Hotel and Location but watch out for incidental hold!
This hotel is just off of Michigan Avenue at the North end of the Magnificant Mile so it is in a great location. The views are non existent but I am sure many hotels have the same issue when being surrounded by sky scrapers. The hotel was nice overall. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. Most the staff were friendly but the front desk staff seemed a little stuffy. One staff member went out of his way to help me into the workout room when I couldn't find my key as he went down to obtain one from the lobby to allow me in. The only true drawback to the hotel was that they put a hold on your credit card for $75 per night for incidentals. That's allot of money when you weren't planning for it and your funds are limited so be prepared if you choose to stay here.

Great stay in Chicago
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet any demand, without question. The building was located in a wonderful place close to many sights that you could walk to. I would stay again.

Great hotel!
Great! We loved the location of the hotel, helpful staff, great clean room (they are small but still great), Some reviews were very negative, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The only bad part was parking costs extra for the parking garage across the street, but still not too bad considering. Would definitely stay there again.
