Whirlwind weekend trip
The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We enjoyed sampling a couple of local beers at the bar and breakfast in the morning in the C-House restaurant.

It's A Room
Not the best, but not too bad. Kind of old and beat up. Carpet worn and wrinkled. Room Safe didn't work. Mini Bar fridge didn't work so they brought ice instead....Although the room wasn't all that, the staff is phenominal. Will probably stay elsewhere next trip.

Very satisfactory experience
I was at the hotel for a 5 day conference. It is pleasant, clean, with attentive staff, and in excellent position for shops and touring. Facilities a little basic, but more than adequate for this kind of trip.

2nd Visit to Chicago
We were able to drop off our bags around 9am. Our room was not ready yet so we went to breakfast and site seeing. We came back around 230 and our room was ready. The room was very clean and spacious. We did not have a great view but since we faced other buildings, I think this helped cutdown on the city noise. We stayed for 3 nights. We did not visit the restaurant - we didn't see much on the dinner menu we would have liked. Overall, the hotel was good. We did pay more for this hotel than we did for our last visit to Chicago. I personally don't feel this hotel offered anything more than the other hotel we paid less for.

Great spot
The staff is very friendly and I had a small issue when confirming my reservations and trying to book a Birthday Package but after emailing Morgan and speaking with her, the package was booked and everything turned out great. She was great help and one of the most nicest people I have spoken to at a hotel. Our stay was great, the place was renovated so you can see a few things like the walls and ceiling in the bathrooms that weren't re-done, but overall the hotel room is very nice and very clean. We will definitely stay here again. If you want pizza from Gino's it's a hop and a skip away, need ice, they bring it to your room, need something set up, it's done and taken care of when asked. NO COMPLAINTS, This hotel was great.

An excellent hotel experience
To be completely straight-forward, I chose MileNorth mainly because they were one of the few downtown Chicago hotels I found that did NOT have any bedbug issues in recent years. Normally, I stay in 3-star hotels, but having had bedbugs a few years back, didn't want to take any chances with my stay. And, I found that MileNorth was a really awesome hotel! It labels itself as a boutique hotel, which I'm personally indifferent toward, but I was impressed with the overall experience. So much so that on any return trips to Chicago, I wouldn't think twice about booking at MileNorth.
