No complaints

I had a good experience here, nothing special but certainly good enough. The room was clean, the staff was nice enough, the gym was adequate but just barely, the complimentary breakfast was an awesome convenience (a buffet on every floor w decent coffee, pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs and some fruit) but certainly not a full meal. I think it's worth checking out if you can get a deal.

Many bars in the area with older patrons. It was nice to not feel like the oldest one in the room.

Great

We spent a great time at the Kenzie hotel in Chicago. We were with our two teenagers. Buffet breakfast was very nice and there was a modern room to go to have breakfast in (or in bedroom). We appreciate the coktail they offered between 6 and 8 pm in the same room where we had breakfast the same morning. The room was very confortable, quiet and well located to visit Chicago. Nice and big bathroom too. Nice new hotel.

Five Star experience

This was one of the nicest hotels I have experienced in years. The location is perfect, and the rooms, amenities and service are above and beyond perfect. First of all, I arrived at the hotel at 9 am fully expecting to be informed that check in is at 2 pm. I was pleasantly surprised when Julian quickly announced a room was ready and would I like to check in (no begging, pleading or bribery required:) ! You immediately can tell this hotel pays attention to every detail..from the graciousness and professionalism of every staff member to the gorgeous color scheme throughout the hotel. The floors are uniquely beautiful, artwork is wonderful and the room decor and furnishings are lucious. The rooms have been thoughtfully remodeled and furnished with first class amenities: Krueger coffee maker with fine coffee and teas, mini-fridge, beautiful and comfy couch with ottoman, excellent lighting, convenient electrical outlets for all your electronics, blackout shades, double-paned windows to block noise, comfy bed with great pillows and very nice linens, plush towels, TV guide (so you know exactly which channels are on the TV...plenty of channels including HBO), snacks for purchase with prices clearly marked, comfy robes, a safe, new shower with dual heads, iron and ironing board, and nice toiletries! Again, the colors are gorgeous and unique..and the artwork is beautiful in the room featuring local Chicago sites. The free breakfast is very nicely displayed and includes something for everyone: hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, donuts (very tasty), muffins, toast and bagels with the fixings, string cheese, and an assortment of juice, coffee and tea. Newspapers were also available. The staff keeps everything replenished ...and again..very tidy. The front desk and bell staff employees were genuinely friendly and interesting to chat with...I hated to check out and move over to the Sheraton for a conference. I didn't make it to the complimentary cocktail hour, but it is nice to have that option. The business center is free, so I was able to print off a couple of documents and tickets...again..a pleasant surprise. This is a great hotel and I will definitely stay there again. You simply cannot beat the location and the comfort and service of the Kinzie.

Hub 51 has a fantastic menu and bar and atmosphere. The sushi rolls are half-price from 3-6. The rolls are unique, fresh and delicious! The regular menu offers something for everyone at a very reasonable price...great place!

Spring Break

We stayed at the Kinzie for Spring Break. It was close to everything we needed, shopping, dining and museums. This hotel is a great place to relax. With breakfast and a manager's reception there's no reason to rush.

Very nice, very new, exactly what I wanted

It helps that the hotel was across from the office. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast on each floor was just right. Definitely would stay there again.

Simple Hotel, Nice Room, Fantastic Location

Sparest lobby I think I've ever seen, like the lobby of an office building. But room was nice, and in the middle of some of the best restaurants and nightlife in Chicago.
