Landmark Chicago hotel with hip urban appeal
Built in 1929, the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile is a stunning intersection of past and present. Original interiors are steeped in Moorish design, while recent additions are reminiscent of classic urban elegance. Guest rooms vary depending on location in either the main tower or the historic tower. An architectural landmark in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, it's the only hotel whose front doors open to world-famous shopping. A distinguishing feature is the heated, junior Olympic swimming pool that's still true to its original 1920s architecture.

Romantic Getaway
Everything was beautiful and relaxing. The staff could be more friendlier, and make it more aware of the security deposit charge. Other than that the view was magnificent! Room was spacious, so was the bathroom. Bed was very comfy.

Great location and price.
A great weekend get away. Walking distance to everywhere even in january. Starbucks directly downstairs. More than helpful and friendly staff. Internet connection in the room for the lower speed selection was slower than I had hoped for. I have been here several times and the staff is why I return. We asked for a restaurant suggestion for breakfast and upon arriving, the staff already knew our party of 6 was enroute. Such a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended
The room had a great view of Michigan Avenue, very comfortable bed and the bathrobes were a nice touch. Don't miss the wine, cheese and chocolate bar.

Great location, nice room. Food high.
We had had the afternoon tea at the Inter-continnental recommended. It was $56 including our tip. Not that good. No effort at atmosphere. Waiters acted indifferent, bored, busy getting ready for something else.

Christmas shopping weekend
Went downtown for an annual couples weekend to get some holiday shopping done. Perfect location and nice, cozy atmosphere. Easy access to everything and staff was very helpful. Rooms are spacious and very quiet. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable location
We lived there for the Thanksgiving and black Friday. The location was very good. Food was perfect. But the room was a little bit small.

Super awesome hotel
I and my girlfriend were shopping in Chicago at BlackFriday. The hotel was very awesome and the staffs were polite and helpful. I will definitely come back to InterContinental again.
