You get what you pay for...

Stained duvet cover. Radiator that didn't work (and, yes I have them in my house so I know how to operate them).Duct tape galor to "seal" a/c window units in the room and breakfast room, and yet you can still see daylight. Car had better accommodations.

Inn at Lincoln Park

This hotel is one of the few in this No Chicago area. We have stayed there before and the experience is average. The Hotel is old and the rooms are nothing special. The location is great. The staff is always helpful and sincere. The room A/C was very niosy. The room itself was spartan. You expect more for $150/night but this is what you get. Very nice location!

Great Location

Ideal location near shopping, Lake Michigan, Wrigley Field, and restaurants. There are a limited number of parking spaces available for $30 per night, as an added convenience. Best of all pets are welcome for $50 fee.

Great deal for the money and the location was perfect

Rooms were a bit small and out dated but what do you expect for the price. We had a very small room with a double bed the first 2 nights and moved to the 4th floor the 3rd night and the room was great. Had a queen bed and the room was good size. Cute little hotel reminds me of something from the 20's and the location was wonderful. We walked everywhere or caught the red or brown line. Close to DePaul University (.9 miles) Just don't expect the Hyatt.

OMG - You are such wingers!!

What do you get for this price? a great view of the park & shore, a butler and maid and a suite of rooms - of course not!! What you do get is a great location, location, location, friendly accommodating staff, a filling if limited inclusive breakfast (if you want a starbucks like breakfast - go (and pay) there!!), and reasonable comfortable and clean rooms. No more - no less - dont use last minute cheap websites and expect the Waldorf for 125 bucks - you're always going to be disappointed. If you use a cost-cutting website you are "price-sensitive" - don"t then winge about it. -signed an experienced (and realistic) traveller!!

Not great for the price.

The first night they put us in a very small room at the end of the hall. The door had a "do not disturb" sign on it. The manager had to come and check it out to make sure it was available. It looked like a room where housekeeping got some shut eye. The cable went out for the evening. We asked to be upgraded the second night which was a much better room. Location is good if you want to be in Lincoln Park area.

Review

Parking right at the hotel at a reasonable rate was very important. My granddaughter and I took a taxi to Merlo for dinner and then walked the half-block to the Apollo Theater to see "Million Dollar Quartet," which we highly recommend. The whole weekend there was a pleasure.

One night pricing Adequate

Stayed in better stayed in lot worse. Rooms kind of small, but only hotel in Chicago that didn't want 2 night minimum for weekend. Pretty quiet, rooms were old but seemed cleaned.. Need a bed in good location for night without having to stay a min. of two nights? Stay out late, come in tired and crash.

You get what you pay for...

When we arrived, the receptionist did not greet us. When we told her where we had to park she said she wasn't sure how safe that garage was (we had to prepay parking there). The receptionist did not know where our room was to give us directions. The receptionist did give us information we asked for to order a pizza but I later found out she got some sort of referral perk from the pizzeria. Breakfast was not impressive. Room was tiny. Blanket was worn out. I did like the older atmosphere and quaint feeling and the security entrance.
