Just a getaway
Overall a great place
We recently stayed at the hotel for our trip to Chicago. I thought the rooms were very clean and we got just what we asked for. A room with City or lake views. The staff was always very kind and answered any questions we had. The bed was a little big harder than we like but that is just a chance you take when you don't have your own bed. :-) I also wish that parking was cheaper or included in the price. $32.00 a night is a little steep and I would have preferred to us that money for our trip. Overall it was a great stay though and we enjoyed ourselves!

Young Kids and Auto Show
Exceeded Expectations
I stayed at this facility for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. My husband and I were traveling with two young girls (ages 3 and 1) and wanted easy access to the show and the ability to go back to the room quickly for naps. This worked PERFECTLY. It took us all of 5 minutes to walk from the show to our room. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very courteous. Our room was very nice. I honestly am surprised it didn't cost more (we stayed under the surf and turf package which basically saves you $12/day for parking and gives you free internet). It's possible the reduced rate was due to the current remodeling? Which, by the way, didn't interfere with our trip at all. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

OK experience
Location was great as it was connected to the McCormick Place. Just had to walk next door. Rooms were clean. Beds were hard to sleep in as they were small and uncomfortable. Parking your car cost $32 a day for self parking!!

take a taxi where ever you go. they charge anywhere from $12-$24 to park to park downtown Chicago.

The hotel is under construction and the noise is ongoing. They had some issues with room keeping, dusty night stand, long black hair in shower, glasses in hall way for two days.

Not that good of an experience
The hotel was nice but the service was terrible the front desk people were really rude. They charged me 205 dollars for a bus pass and it was only suppose to be 5 dollars and they were really rude about the whole thing. The rooms werent really clean the beds didnt have any bottom sheets on them. The showers were really dirty. Overall the stay wasnt really nice and i would rather stay somewhere else. On there website it said they were really close to a lot of attractions and when I got there, they were actually futher away. Overall Rating was Terrible, I will never stay there again.
