Convenient convention hotel in Chicago
When the lights go down in the Windy City, there is no better location to soak in the view than at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Great Chicago Spot

The Hyatt is in a perfect location and the accomadations and staff are top shelf. This will be my perferred location stop while on business in the Windy City. Having all needs under one roof such as resteraunts and bar not only saves money but allows you to not worry about finding anything on a busy travel schedule. The rooms are the top of the line and clean and fesh. This stop was a pleasure.

Great Location

I only stayed one night, but I thought everything was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The room seemed like it had been recently renovated. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The cost was a little higher than I usually like to pay, but I believe this might be due to the time of year and the activities in the area.

Great Holiday

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. I liked the location because it was a short walk to Michigan Ave. The room was spacious for 2 people and not worn - well maintained. The desk area was spacious for work and the desk chair comfortable. The vanity in the bathroom was small but the bathroom itself was roomy. The staff were very curtious. The only negative was the Gym - some of the machines were not maintained. They looked good but were creaky.

Great view of the river and michigan ave.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Chicago for both business and pleasure and both experiences. The views of the river and Michigan avenue from the rooms was spectacular. Also, the convenience to shopping, transportation, dining, outdoor activities, and other travel destinations is perfect. The rooms are clean, with all the amenities you like, except refrigerators. The fitness center is nicely equipped. There are an abundance of restaurants within the hotel. The hotel staff is extremely accomodating and responded quickly to all my needs. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

A Whole lot for not a lot

The Hyatt Regency Chicago located on Whacker was great! The room was spacious and up to date. It was very presentable and clean from what I could see. Their was enough closet space for two ladies. The bathroom was big enough with a large mirror. The curved shower rod afforded more room to move freely while showering. The toilet flushed very well. The mirror outside of the bathroom and before the door was conveniently located. Watching TV was great with the large flat screen TV. The night stand area between the two beds was a bit cramped but it sufficed. It also took a while for the room to warm up because the heat cam from the ceiling. After standing on the bed, I found that it was warmer at the top than bottom. I know that heat rises but the vents or system was not in the most conducive location. After the first day it was good. A picturesque scene greeted us in the morning encouraging us to get up and going! The staff was very friendly. Only a walk away from your next adventure!!! Hyatt Regency Chicago on Whacker is a great place to stay!

Everything you need is only an elevator ride and walk away. Find Lake St. where you can walk a few blocks to Macy's, Nine West, Old Navy, the Fannie Mae Candy Store, Starbucks and much more.

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Hotel!

This was my first time to this Hyatt. I have frequented Chicago but typically go only for day trips. This hotel was above my expectations for the price. We got this hotel at a steal! Overall the rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and quite helpfull. There were plenty of dining options within walking distance. One costly negative: You have to pay for everything that is often times complimentary at other chains. Wifi internet? You have to pay. Refrigerator? You have to pay. Continental breakfast? You have to pay. With that said I suppose it is a typical side-effect of being a big name chain in a big city. It's just something you should be aware of. Overall I had a great experience and would stay there again!
