Short walk from hotel
The double decker tour bus has to be the best choice we made- took us every where! Very reasonable price. Also consider purchasing the city pass with all the attractions - definitely will be money saver and you get to check out the major attractions!

Chicago trip
Spent a weekend in Chicago. The room was great. Check in was super easy and the valet service was key. Lots of food options in the hotel as well including Stetson's Chop House. Overall a great place, great location and better than average price for downtown Chicago.

The Best Central Chicago Location
We spent a long weekend in Chicago and stayed at the Hyatt. It was perfectly located, so much so that we never once took a cab or the bus. We walked just about everywhere. The "Bean", the Navy Pier, the Mag Mile, the Lake and River Boat Tour, the Art Institute, all so very close. The bed was softer than we are used to and the gum on the bathroom floor was not quite 4 star. However, the staff was helpful and friendly. They made up for any shortcomings. A great place to spend our weekend get-a-way.

Great Location and View, Not so Good Internet and Towel Issue
I had a fairly good experience at this hotel. I was traveling for business so I was not in for too long to enjoy all of the amenities that the hotel offered. The hotel was very clean and its location was awesome close to everything you could want to do. What was disappointing was the fact that when booking the hotel the offer said that there would be free WiFi internet which is one of the main reason that I chose the Hyatt, and when I got to my room and tried to use it it wanted to charge me for it. I ended up just not using the internet that night and it was probably the biggest issue that I had with the stay. One other "small" issue that I had was the fact that the hotel did not provided normal sized towels in the room at all. The towels that were in the room were slightly larger than hand towels but not the size of normal shower towels which was a minor annoyance and meant that you had to use multiple towels to dry off after showering. On a plus side my room was upgraded and I was able to stay up on the 33rd floor with a fantastic view of the river and the lake.

CHICAGO FIRST TIMERS
two day trip
IT WAS OUR FIST TIME VISITING CHICAGO AND THIS HOTEL WAS IN THE ABSOLUTE PERFECT LOACTION. NOT FAR FROM NAVY PIER AND RIGHT BY THE TRIBUNE BUILDING WHICH HAS A GREAT GIFT SHOP AND ALSO RIGHT BY A STOP ON ONE OF THE CITY TOURS WHICH IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE YOU CAN SEE THE WHOLE CITY BY PRUCHASING A TOUR TICKET WHICH IS $35. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL. THERE IS A BOCKWINKELS GROCERY RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FOR ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED, ITS A SHORT WALK TO MICHIGAN AVE AND ALL SHOPPING AND EATING YOU COULD WANT. GIORDANOS AND SWEETWATER ARE VERY GOOD FOOD OPTIONS. AND A SHORT WALK TO MILLENIUM PARK AND GRANT PARK. THIS WAS A GREAT LOCATION. WE WILL DEFINIELY BE MAKING THE TRIP BACK AND STAYING HERE.

Great hotel, but additional fees rack up
No complaints at all about the accommodations but the cost of everything else is ridiculous. The in house restaurants, parking, wifi fee...will run up a bill comparable to a night's stay! If you stay here, eat and park somewhere else!

Hotel was in great location. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was really good. Only complaint was don't believe maid cleaned our room one of the nights we stayed there. Probably just an oversight. Would stay there again.
