great hotel
This is a great hotel with excellent location at the start of the magnificient mile. It is a little pricey but worth the money. Excellent restaurants and The Big bar is the best hotel bar I've seen.

Elegant
A real elegant and large hotel with friendly staff. Only, there were many conferences going on and got a bit too crowded in the evening. in the lobby area. But excellent room, although you have to pay extra for WiFii after paying premium for the night

Pleasant stay
The hotel is upscale and quiet. It would be great if microwave and space in refrigerator was allowed. That would really be a plus. Hotel is great for out of town business trips. Also has a fitness center.

Appreciated that this hotel is in the heart of downtown. Within walking distance of food and shopping, and some attractions.

Great location, good hotel
Overall very good, and nice staff. It is a big hotel, though. Our floor had some noisy kids one night. And if you need to take the elevator during a high-volume time, you may need to wait 10 minutes, and let many full ones just go by (that was actually quite ridiculous). Otherwise, it was a very good stay.

Hyatt R Chicago
Don't let yourself be fooled by the relative lower price of this hotel, specially if you have a car. All extras are very expensive. The minibar should say "don't touch this" instead of the price list. The room was very comfortable but also very noisy; even with the air-conditioning off there was this constant "vooom" that didn't let me and my daughter sleep properly. The entrance does not have a cosy feeling. It seems we are entering a shopping center instead of an hotel. Very crowded.

Quality Experience
The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of food and drink options available at the hotel as well as nearby. The location was great, with easy walking access to Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and other downtown locations. Given the price, the amenities could have been better as internet was only offered with a daily fee.

Great location midway between Loop and Magnificent Mile
I arrived late and there were no rooms left fitting my booking specs except by the elevators, so I was offered a disabled room or a suite. I was very pleased that they provided me the information about the elevators up front and then kindly upgraded me at no charge. Really good service at the front desk. The view of the river and the lake are fantastic, and the location could not be better.

Great location
Concierge was rude extremely rude! Valet at hotel got too busy in the morning and stopped return valet service to front of hotel so we had to go down to the parking garage ourselves and wait for attendant to bring car out for us-much more time consuming than expected. Phone in room did not work therefore increased our wait time to check out and find out that valet service was not operating to the main entrance anymore for the day (this occurred at 11am). Other than these few complaints the hotel was very clean, in a great location, had an awesome view, and was a good price for a quick weekend trip
