Concert in Chicago
Overall, are experience was very good. I surprised my wife with tickets to a concert at Wrigley, so the location to the downtown area and train was a must - this hotel was perfect for that. The only downfall to the stay was the air conditioning was broken. I called the front desk and was appropriately comped breakfast at the restaurant for the inconvenience. The second downfall was the drain in the shower that was clogged, which caused the water to back up during the shower. Outside these few things, we were very pleased with the accomodations.

Great Staff - Great Location
This hotel had a great atmosphere. Geared slightly towards a younger, hipper crowd, yet still accommodating to families. This older hotel was very clean . Right next to the Chicago River and one block from the Magical Mile. The bed was slightly lumpy but still comfortable enough. No coffee maker in room but free coffee in the lobby was not too bad. Mini fridge in room had to be emptied of honor bar contents to keep our drinks cold - slight inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location/Helpful Staff - Would stay there again
The location is walking distance to the Maginificent Mile shopping district, the Riverwalk, Navy Pier, Grant Park and even the House of Blues is next door, etc...all the must see sights of Chicago. The staff was helpful with directions and recommendations of places to go and eat. Beds were very comfy and the shower head was the BEST I have ever used. Loved the stocked fridge for snacks/drinks convenience (you do have to pay of course). I would stay again!

Great location for accessing all the restaurants and activity of the River North area, as well as the loop - you also have easy access to public transport. The single King room was not huge but very comfortable and staff was helpful...very cool lounge too!

St. Pattys getaway
Overall the hotel was great. The room was very clean and large. We had a river view so we were able to see the river each morning as a different shade of green. The bellstand is in a very awkward place at the foot of the elevator banks. It made it very crowded at times and most of the time you were bumping into staff trying to either hold the elevator or help someone else. The location was great and we were able to walk just about everywhere. The lounge was nice although the drinks were $14 a piece. The door from the lobby to the bowling alley was locked so you had to walk outside.

2 Thumbs Up
Hotel Sax was very comforatable, a very friendly staff, beautifully decorated, all round a great hotel. It is located in the Marina area of Chicago, which is great, close walking distance to all the attractions (shopping, museum, parks, restuarants). The rooms are very large and cozy, I would recommend it to anyone.
