Good hotel in the heart of it all

-The location is pristine. -The rooms and common areas could not have been cleaner. -The staff we interacted with were great. -A little pricey in general. -Staff was great about extending our checkout time by 1.5 hours. -Amenities could use a boost: pool is nothing to write home about (shallow, small, a little too cold) and it closes too early (10pm on a Saturday night); could use a hot tub and/or sauna; the outside courtyard has no view; fitness center is small; TV doesn't have many channels. -Overall a good experience, but a little more in the amenities area and it would have been great!

Good location, good value

We have stayed at this hotel before and will probably stay again in the future. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Views aren't anything to write home about, but it's Chicago...your not there to look at it from your room. With that being said, the location is close to many amenities including the Magnificent Mile. "Validated Parking" does not mean what it does to the rest of us and has risen from $40 to $50 since our last visit.

A few days in New Chicago

Our room was pleasant and comfortable with adequate space, lighting, a safe and a refrigerator. We hadn't been to Chicago in a few decades, so our location was excellent to travel around downtown by public transit. We were able to take the CTA from O'Hare to within a few blocks of our hotel. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. We were able to check in early when we arrived and they held our luggage after check out until we were ready to go to the airport. The only issue was that the quilt/sheet combo on the bed was a bit hard to thermoregulate: when a/c came on you needed the quilt, but it was too warm when the fan shut off.

Exploring Chicago

This hotel wasn't what I was expecting from the hotel room pictures. The bed was clean and bathroom, so I was pleased with that at least. You can't beat the location though. The hotel was close to restaurants, public transportation, and a brief walk to tourist attractions. The personnel was nice. I'm torn on recommending this hotel. I paid more than I would like to for the accommodations, but the location was perfect. If you can live with less than perfect stay there.

Take the subway to get around. Taking a taxi or Uber everywhere can be expensive.

stay

It was a nice big room. Clean over all, but it was a deluxe room and it was very simple. Nice view and it can be more fancy.

It's ok

Nice hotel staff is nice but I don't like the fact that you have to use your key every time you use the elevator and that every time I had a visitor I had to go down and swipe my card for them to get up so I would not return back but overall it's a nice hotel and great location
