The new Hotel Lincoln is a window to the most dynamic part of Chicago's North Side, Lincoln Park. Like the neighborhood, the hotel is historic yet fresh, fun though eccentric, active but relaxed. It's where the energy of urban life meets 1,200 green acres and Lake Michigan. All of which makes the Lincoln that unique place where the rhythms of a great city can be felt, savored and adopted as your own. The Lincoln's 184 rooms are classic Chicago seen through an eclectic, contemporary lens. They're on the preppy side, designed and furnished with modern and vintage details, including original art from local artists. Rooms on the highest floors - 9 through 12 - feature the hotel finest views, especially when facing east toward Lincoln Park and the lake.

Onsite parking $44.00 per night Offsite parking $25.00 per night

great hotel

This hotel is lovely. Location, food, staff, and decor is great. The beds aren't the most comfortable that I've experienced but its given all the other stuff it does so well I plan to stay here on all my visits to Chicago.

Funky Perfection

We loved this hotel and wished we were staying more nights. Great atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff and our room was huge (seriously, two bathrooms? Heaven!). Loved the Lincoln Park location and even though our dog was not with us, I always appreciate a dog friendly hotel. Could not have been a better experience. I look forward to returning.

Saturday Evening

First time I have stayed here. Small but well done room, very good bed. Hotel lounge on the roof would be great in the summer. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent value at cool hotel in Chicago

Great location - 10 minute cab drive to downtown - and nice experience at this hotel. Staff was very pleasant and room was clean. Only downside was bed was VERY firm - for those that like this style it's no big deal, but it wasn't the best night's sleep. However, I would still stay at this hotel in the future, especially if the rates stay this reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.

Quick Business Trip

My best friend and I stayed at Hotel Lincoln on a quick business trip recently and just loved it! The location was perfect and central to where we needed to be, the valet parking was great, and the staff was very friendly. The decor of the hotel is eclectic and cool and the rooms (though small) are beautiful as well. I will definitely be returning to Hotel Lincoln in the future.

Neocon Experience

This hotel was in a great location and very clean. We didn't know until we checked in that our junior suite had two bathrooms. This was a real bonus and saved us a significant amount of time in the morning. Desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We slept great all three nights that we were there.

Not ideal for extended, business, or family travel

First off, the staff is top notch. Every person I came into contact with from desk to sales to restaurant staff was over-the-top courteous and willing to help. HL is not ideal for extended travel because the rooms are very small, and there is very limited storage space for clothing and in the bathroom. HL is not ideal for business travel because the free Internet is ridiculously slow (like, bad dial up slow). Downloading documents and even loading some pages is impossible. And the upgraded Internet is only available for an exorbitant daily rate. HL is not ideal for travel with kids due to the limited hours and menu for the restaurant/room service, as well as the general clientele attracted by the hotel. It's a young, hip crowd. The bar and lobby are hopping at night, and the whole place gives off a trendy, professional Chicago vibe rather than a "We have Sprout DVDs available at the front desk" vibe. Other downsides: The walls are very, very thin. This is tough when your neighbors are discourteous or when folks congregate outside the popular bar located in the hotel. Housekeeping staff are very stingy in replacing toiletries and other amenities (paper/plastic cups). My favorite parts: The beds are ultra comfortable. The decorations are chic and fun. The rooms are updated and clean. The common areas are lovely. The staff are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to provide excellent service.
