My 2nd Stay at The Felix
My second stay @ the Felix within the past year- It was a great place to stay on my first visit a year ago.. Newly renovated... sharp style without being way-too trendy.. Great staff: friendly- knowledgeable- no attitude- attentive + personable to your needs- Good breakfast choices: in-house restaurant- On my second trip to Chicago [eleven months later] i looked forward to staying at the Felix.. for me it has it all.. I like to walk in a city.. it's location is near 2 subways- yet easy to walk + explore the North Side-Water Tower- Mag-Mile.. etc. If you want to see Chicago you need to walk to get a feeling for the city- Visually rich with history.. it's a living textbook of urban style + architecture- Stayed in many hotels both domestic + international... certain places make you feel welcome + at ease... The Felix is one of those places... it's my choice for visits to Chicago- I'll be back next year-

Do you like small rooms?
The rooms in Hotel Felix were extremely small, barely enough room for the two of us. The room was also very plain, blah and basically boring with little decor and a small, but modern bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel restaurant was delicious.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
If your looking for fine Italian dining, Rosebuds is the place to go and a short walk from the hotel. As well, if your taste is leaning towards Sushi, Japonais is the one for you. And don't forget, Ginos East has the best deep dish pizza in Chicago

Hotel Felix
Hotel is really very good. My daughter & I were in town to go to a taping of the Oprah Show. The services from the front desk were extremely helpful and right on point. The only negative thing was our room had an odor as well as part of the hotel lobby, but after leaving the window open for the day while we were out it dissipated. It seemed like maybe that building was something very diffrent before it became the Hotel Felix. All in all, it was a very, very nice stay!

Nice little Boutique Hotel
Hotel was quaint and convenient. The staff kept the hotel very clean and were attentive to our needs. The little lobby bar was not much of a bar, but the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and the bar there was more than ample. Overall very good experience and would stay there again.

Great Location, Nice Rooms
I stayed at the Felix Hotel for one night and very much enjoyed the experience. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation - Michigan Avenue was only a few blocks away. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice lobby restaurant and bar that serves excellent appetizers and drinks late.

Good for the money
we got a great deal for the price we paid--especially considering it was a downtown hotel in a great location. the staff was so friendly and helpful! however, the rooms were so tiny! and our description of the room stated "upgraded bath amenities," but all we got were the standard soap, shampoo, conditioner. overall, it was a great experience because we got a good deal with our flight/hotel package. i would have not liked it if we had paid their regular rates.

Cozy and Hip
I stayed for one night at the Hotel Felix in Chicago's River North. The staff was welcoming and check in was quick and efficient. The rooms were clean and comfortable - not large, especially the closet, but fine for a couple nights. The hotel has a nice lobby area and good restaurant and bar with a good selection of appetizers and wines. They are close to public transportation, with several buses nearby. Michigan Avenue shopping is an easy walk, and there are many good restaurants in the area.

Great "Tucked Away "Treasure
I had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, free from odor, sleek and cozy. I'm sure they have bigger rooms but my room was a perfect size for me and one other person. The hotel was located in a quiet area just a block away from adult and child friendly restaurants, drugstores, and shopping. Also, take a short walk and you'll be right on the Magnificent Mile!
