Great location!
The rooms are spacious and the location is great. The bellman and doorman are top notch. The only drawback is that they don't have concierge service. A must in a city like Chicago.

Nice hotel!
I stayed in a room with two queen beds. Roomy, clean. Noisy on the Fri. night/Sat. AM. Hotel informed us of 2 museum closures on 2 dates during the NATO visit. The reality was that all museums ( including Art Institute) were closed on 3 dates. Street closures were also not included in the notice. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Great Deal for High End Hotel on the River
This hotel had the ideal location right on the river. Room was clean, modern and had a great view looking right down the river. If I had any issue with the room, it was merely that the decor was a bit bland. Everything was pretty much brown, tan and beige. It all appeared new, so I cannot undertand why they chose to do it that way. Staff seemed nice. Parking was predictably expensive for big city. All and all would certainly stay there again.

Big room, great location
Location is the best thing about this hotel. If it's you're first time in Chicago, it's a central location to do all the touristy stuff and the view is great. Room was very large. My only complaint was the bathroom was dated and was not like the pictures online. Go up to the ballroom and checkout the view. AMAZING 360 view of Downtown Chicago for free!

Perfect location, unnecessary hassle.
When we arrived at 11pm on Friday, I didn't anticipate any problems--we had booked and pre-paid for our trip a week in advance. However, the hotel had absolutely no record of our reservation, and initially acted as though we were just out of luck. I even had the confirmation on my phone, but they still weren't able to find it. We had reserved a single, two queen bed room. After some back and forth, the hotel offered a suite with one king bed and a rollaway bed--again, this is not acceptable when we reserved two queen beds. They said if we were given a second room, we would have to pay full price. Overall, the attitude of the workers at the front desk was not overly helpful, and each time they offered us something it was as if it was the last available offer they had for us. It could have been resolved much easier. It turned out they had two suites available--but this took about 30 minutes of back and forth and "final offers" to reach the conclusion. At this point, it was close to midnight, so I highly doubt they would have booked those suites for the night anyway. Regardless, we were finally given the two suites which did end up to be wonderful rooms--and we very much appreciated it. Overall, it was a good experience, but there should have been no hesitation in giving us an additional room.

Great place to stay!
Stayed here with two friends for a Chicago girls weekend. Room was very clean, very comfortable, and the river view was fantastic. The hotel is located in a perfect, central location, right on the river, and within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, all the shops on State Street, and great restaurants. I would stay here again without question, as long as the price stays reasonable!

Enjoyable stay for family of four
Staff was pleasant, room was nice, close to the Loop and Northern Michigan Ave. Most everything was in walking distance (Shedd Aquarium and Wrigley field were the only exceptions, but buses were readily available). An indoor pool would have been nice, as well as an ice cream parlor for younger travelers.
