Not sure why this Hotel is only 3 stars.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and even called a cab for us. There is a nice bar...

A QUALITY VACATION EXPERIENCE IN CHICAGO
This hotel had all the amenities you needed for an enjoyable stay including FREE wireless internet and FREE parking! Furthermore they have in-house dining and great room service. THe hotel also has a 24 hour shuttle to/from the airport and is located only about a 20 minute drive (with no traffic) to downtown. If I can book this hotel every time I will.

average hotel at a great price
Great location. We went downtown via the train system that was about a block away. Very convenient to the north suburbs, where we drove to see my family (Glenview, DesPlaines, Evanston). I liked the underground parking at the hotel. Nothing too special or fancy about the hotel stay, but for the price it was fine. This trip was not really about where we stayed, but who we visited and what we did.

Good location/close access to everything
Was in Chicago for a funeral. Staff helpfpul in giving directions. Hotel size was good providing for easy access to room, parking lot, restaurant, and expressways. There was no extra charge to park you car which was great. WiFi access. Cleaning staff was good and they did not disturb you in order to clean your room. They waited until you were gone--something that is greatly appreciated.

Good Trip to Chicago
The hotel room was nice. The breakfast bar which cost $14.28 with tax was not so good. the french toast was cold and the sausage was terrible. The waitress did not speak very good English as well. Make sure you count your change before leaving the restaurant or you may end up shortchanged. Also the cleaning staff did not understand me when I asked what time they would clean our room. They just handed me two towels. My wife and I left at 7:30 AM and returned at 1 PM and the room was still not cleaned. To top it off the cleaning staff was making so much noise talking it made it hard to take a nap. Over all for the price the room was alright. The hotel definately needs to do something about their restaurant and cleaning staff. I would probably stay here again.

Short drive from hotel
If you like Korean food go to the Chun Sun Ok restraurant located at 4200 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL. It was a 10 to 15 minute drive from the Holiday Inn O'Hare. Also check out the stores and restaurants along West Lawrence Avenue. Good shopping and bars.

Short drive from hotel
Go to Dominick Supermarket which is less than a 2-minute drive. Get your snacks and drinks here, store them in your hotel fridge and your evening in the room will be more fulfilled!!! There is also a Starbucks and Chase bank in the store. CAN'T BEAT IT!

Not what was expected
Our 1st room the ceiling was falling apart in the bathroom. We were able to change rooms but first impression wasn't the best. Our 2nd room was very clean and the bathroom was nice. Then went to use the pool and found out it was outside so we couldn't use the pool do to the time of year it wasn't filled. There was not hot tub available. So for a romantic weekend away not the best place to go. It was very convient to airport really liked that it made it nice for our early morning flight home.

Good location and good price
The location is perfect for using public transportation to and fron downtown and other places, the staff is very friendly and ready to serve, the rooms are a little small and the coffee in the rooms needs to be more like a real pot of coffee, this is my second time at this location and I planning to be back

Great Stay Outside of the City
This was a great hotel to stay at for the price. If you want to save quite a bit of money during your stay in Chicago, this is the place. There is a grocery store and seven eleven within walking distance. The 'El' train (CTA blue line- Cumberland) stops across the street, which can be quite busy during the day, and takes around 30 mins to reach the "Loop" downtown. The only complaint I had was having to cross the street to get to the station, but the free shuttle will drop you off there if you ask. The staff was very friendly and accomodating with everything that I needed. Free wireless in the rooms, which was great! The hotel has both a bar and restaurant, Mirrors. The menu items can be expensive, but you can tell the food is very well prepared and has a great taste. There is also an Outback Steakhouse closeby. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip. It's definitely worth looking into if you're a budget traveler like me.
