Had to leave

The Hilton O'Hare is in a descent location, but that doesn't make up for the hefty price. The last time I stayed here I thought it was spendy, but dealt with it for the location. This time there were just too many problems. Parking was $45 a night. six of the eight elevators weren't working. the room was hot and the only suggestion the front desk gave was to shut off the heat and open the window. Not a bad plan except then you have the exhaust fumes form the airport pouring into your room. There is no pool. Internet access was $13 a night. I ended up changing hotels and it was the best move for me. I doubt I will ever stay at the Hilton O'Hare again.

The monopoly will cost you

This is the only hotel in the airport and that will cost you. The rooms are very expensive but there are additional costs for: internet access, the fitness center ($15), a toothbrush and razor ($7). Rooms can face a multi-level car park with noise late into the night. The soundproofing was such that we could hear people in the car park talking - unacceptable in an airport hotel. Bright lights all night as well from the car park. The coffee maker had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Very long line at the coffee shop in the morning - good coffee though. We will not stay here again.

Worst hotel ever

This has to be one of the top-10 worst hotels in the world. Check-in took a whopping 50 minutes, due to a loooong line and just two persons attending. Checking-out was another 40 minutes. So, if you stay here, add extra hours to get in and out of the hotel. Reception staff were extremely rude and impolite and basically ruined the whole stay. While in the line three people left for other hotels. Hilton is obviously saving money on staff. Fine, next time I stay somewhere else. What could have been a great experience (hotel is nice), was ruined by "people who hate their job" among the staff. Stay away!

Very noisy

Nothing to say about room cleanliness or amenities, it was pretty much was you find everywhere else, but was this place noisy!! An airport hotel is a place where you go to get some sleep before an early flight, you usually arrive there tired and expect a quiet environment. Not here! Seems like the walls are made of paper or something. Doors are noisy and the water pipe must have something wrong because when someone in the room next door takes a shower it feels like a jet just started its engine in your room!!! I'm a heavy sleeper and am usually not disturbed by noises but seriously this was a bad experience.
