Not worth the extra buck

Great location in downtown Chicago with beautiful view to the lake from the windows, but as room space, comfort and cleanliness it's not worth the extra cost.

Great Hotel!!!

I booked my stay for the Fairmont Hotel and had the best experience. We arrived and received early check in and our room was beautiful! We were on the 36th floor and had the most gorgeous lakeside view. The room was spacious and lovely. The concierge service was prompt and very polite. I was in a wedding over the weekend and staying at the Fairmont made my trip so easy and convenient because of the great location. I will definitely stay here again and again! Thanks, Olivia

Everything but the fridge

Without a doubt the nicest 4 star hotel I've ever stayed at. Separate bathtub from the shower, even a bathroom scale for those of calorie counting. Only downside was the in room fridge was ether unplugged or not working and my early flight I wanted a red bull but it wasn't cold.

Pretty Nice Hotel

Nothing special, but that's according to my tastes. Staff wasn't very friendly but that seems to be a Chicago thing. Great location, right across from Trump Tower and next to the river. About 1 block from the Magnificent Mile! I would definitely stay here again!

No international TV channel?

Generally good but with following room to improve: No International TV chennel; no menu for the minibar; long line in front the front desk (with sofa near front desk will be perfect)

Birthday/Labor Day Vacation

My cousin and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during Labor day weekend. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. When we first got there, we requested a high floor with a nice view if possible. Going up to our room, it was anything but that. The room wasn't what we expected so we decided to change rooms. As we were walking out, there was a security guard, and asked if he could help us... we told him the situation and he immediately resolved it without us having to go back to the lobby. We ended up getting a very nice room with an amazing view. There is a restaurant in the hotel, one of the bartenders was super nice. She gave me a glass of champagne on the house for my birthday. I didn't get a chance to eat there, however. The hotel is in The Loop area, which is one of my favorite areas so its close to everything. Overall, the hotel is excellent and we would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel.

Weekend Getaway

Hotel was great in terms of location and value. Bit Pricey in terms of room service when they charged even for the drinking water. Clean and had a great view of the lake. TV was giving trouble but the location and accessibility of the attractions was awesome
