We like to walk

Our expectations for comfort and location were well met. Easy and attractive walks to Millenium Park and museums, shopping along Michigan Ave., and a terrific breakfast place nearby. Getting to the El/Subway was more of a hike, but we did it to visit a friend in Logan Square. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Weekend sushi room appeared to have few or no customers, which indicated to my husband and me that fresher, better sushi could be found elsewhere. It was.

Independence day 2014 in Chicago

The location is very nice. The "bean" is just around the corner. Quite close to Navy Pier, in fact we walked back from the pier to the hotel.

4th of July weekend

The bathroom was really nice and the beds were comfy, but it was a little dirty. I found a piece of broken glass in the carpet along with a pin. There was also some stains on the wall. It's in a great location. Only a couple blocks from Michigan ave and the Wildberry. Had extremely nice staff who was quick to help or answer any questions. Parking is way over priced and they only offer valet there.

Great location with a 2 and 5 year old cause it's a one block walk to Millennium Park and the double decker tour's main stop. We would stay here again because of the location and well kept hotel. Convenient cvs across the street. Just wish this hotel had a pool.

Great location, old hotel with updates

We stayed over the last weekend in June and found the overall experience to be very good. The hotel is nice and clean, the lobby is very pretty. The room was very clean and spacious for a city hotel and we were able to get a great view from the 35th floor. The bathrooms feel a little old (the toilets reminded us of a highschool) with an old tub in it as well. But there was a seperate shower which was nice and modern. The shampoo/conditioner/etc amenities smelled really nice. Our TV was a flat screen LG but the remote was finnicky and you could select a channel and had to flip up and down to get where you wanted. They have 24 hour room service which was a great, but when we tried to order late night deep dish pizza the room service attendant said it would take 1.5 hours and tried to talk us out of it. The ARIA restaurant was really nice and we had some good drinks there. The food looked good on the menu but we didnt eat because we had other reservations. All together, it was a nice stay and I would stay there again.

Family getaway with toddler

We chose this hotel purely on location. It's a short walk from my sister's apartment, which was most important for us. Location was not only ideal for this reason, but for a multitude of other reasons. Walking distance to Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park, etc… Also across the street from a CVS and supermarket. What more could you ask for? Hotel was nice, seemed more for business travelers than pleasure but that didn't deter us from having a good stay. Not much offered for families with children but all we really needed was a nice size room that was clean and had decent amenities. This hotel fit that bill!
