Girls Graduation Trip
Room was fantastic
Couldn't be happier with the room - spacious, very, very clean and everything was up-to-date. we were missing a room service menu, but someone was willing to run one up to us when we called. A very large group of high school students was staying there for a Model UN event and the staff whisked us into the service elevators to avoid the crush of kids trying to get to their rooms - I thought that was great service. The bar in the lobby was a disappointment - we tried to go during their hours listed as open, but there was no one there to help us.

I was dissatisfied by the internet access 15.63 for "regular acccess" and 25 bucks for premium access. THats a rip off hotels should not charges you for access, ot at least havea wifi hot spot

OVER RATED AND UNCOMFY
For the cost, this place sucked. I was extremely unhappy. First of all, the room was clean but not comfortable at all. The bed, sheets and pillows were just uncomfortable and the air wasn't working properly. They had a Starbucks in the hotel which is CLOSED on weekends!!! I think there are 25 other hotels with better value and more comfortable experiences.

Great Hotel to stay in Chicago
This is a great hotel with a wonderful central location that is close to the theater district and the shopping at state street and one may mile. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff helpful. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the $58 for one night parking!!

Tired hotel
I don't know if its purchasing through A discount website but we had a tiny very run down king room. The doors had areas -like 4x4 spaces, of paint peeling off. The halls to our room had scuffs along the walls. It was just tired and dingy. It's location however was very nice. But I would not recommend this hotel at least room 3307!

Great place to stay!!
Spent a weekend at the Fairmont and couldn't be more pleased. The location is great, just blocks to the Bean in Millennium park, and walking distance to Miracle Mile. Took a cab to Old Town and walked back, but would only recommend that for seasoned walkers! What I liked best about the location is that it's close enough to most attractions to walk to, yet its proximity to the park gives it a laid-back feel; nice combo for a relaxing time. The hotel itself is beautiful, combining a contemporary vibe with old-world charm. The lobby, Eno and Aria are hip, the elevators are old-timey looking and even have chandeliers; rest assured they work fast and ride smooth. My room on the 19th floor was well appointed and quiet!! Comfy bed, too. I can't say enough good about the customer service, from the door man to the food service staff and housekeeping - everyone was invested in making sure my stay was pleasurable. Had a housekeeping issue on check-in that was resolved quickly and professionally, Even got a call to follow up. Concierge was very helpful with directions, booking tours, etc. The wine, cheese, and chocolate pairings at Eno were fab! I will definitely stay at the Fairmont again.

Great location, great hotel
We visited our daughter who lives in Chicago and went to a Bears game. The Fairmont is not the type of hotel we ususally stay at - we prefer to spend our money dining out and exploring the sights - but it was a fabulous stay and we very happy overall. We walked to Soldier's Field, the Art Institute and shopping. Everything was perfect and the staff were very helpful and accomadating. Would reccommend

This is probably well known, but we had to be told. Go to CVS across the street and buy a transit pass for getting around. We got a 3 day pass for $14 and used it everywhere.
