Club Quarters Central Loop is very close to Union Station. It is a $5 (tip included) cab ride. I stayed here for its location, and was more than satified with the amenities. I felt very safe, and the staff was curtious and helpful. The rooms have
a wireless phone, internet, flat screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, and I really liked the open step in shower. There are also water bottling stations near the elevators so you can fill up a bottle on the way to the fitness room - or have the fitness equipment delivered (free of charge) to your room.
There is a restuarnt downstairs and a lounge area, as well. This is the second time I have stayed here, and I highly recommend it.
This hotel was great. Check in-check out procedures were efficient and easy. The rooms were very clean and quiet, although they were a bit small. Great place for the price and location. Would definitely stay again.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Giodorno's Pizza is a few blocks away on Jackson and was delicious, Chicago style pizza!!!
Club Quarters Central Loop is located in Chicago's Loop and is within 2 blocks of the Quincy stop on the Brown line and 2 blocks of the Blue and Red line at Jackson. Also, 3 blocks from Sears Tower and 5 blocks from Union Station. It's nice being
away from the business of Michigan Ave. but still close to everything you could need (including a Giordano's 3 blocks away!) The only downfall to this is, a lot of restuarants close early, if they're open at all since it's in the financial district but it's an easy ride uptown on the L or in a cab. The hotel has purified water with water bottles you can fill up on every floor as well as complimentary internet. For the price, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chicago.
I enjoyed my stay at the Club Quarters Central Loop. While the room was a little small, it was quite comfortable. My goal was to have easy access to downtown Chicago and its attractions for a reasonable price. This hotel fits the bill.
