Basic amenities, GREAT location.

The single is a small room as some of the reviews have pointed out, but it's no smaller than a single @ your local Marriott, probably larger. Also, those free refillable water bottles around the elevators are more convenient than one would think. On weekends at least, the computers were easily accessible. Check-in/check-out was a breeze.

Club Quarters Central Loop

The valet parking situation didn't go well for me. When I pulled up to the curb, it was crowded and hectic. The valet assured me that they would bring my luggage up to my room. So I waited in my room for a half hour with no luggage. It took two phone calls and an hour later before my stuff was delivered. I realized later that they park the cars a few blocks away and the logistics of having them retrieve stuff from my car was going to take a while. So, I learned the hard way to take all my luggage out of the car myself.

Great location

Hotel staff was helpful in storing our bicycles until we needed them, location was great to downtown attractions & shopping. The free bottled water as you leave was wonderful. The restaurant Elephant & Castle was great...finally a restaurant that when I look at the menu there are about 20 things I would love to try.

Great location & great customer service

I requested a room as far away from the smoking floor as possible, and my request was accommodated. Room was one of the remodeled ones, small, but okay. Desk in room had all the cables for computers. Front desk staff was most helpful and very nice, very customer-service oriented. Check-in was automatic and fast. Hotel is ideally located, and I walked to all the usual Chicago tourist attractions.

Club Quarters

Hotel is central to many events which we participated - Taste of Chicago - trolley- subway- a more detail location of different eatery would eliminate question about distance -- travel map highlighted with shopping vendor with different means travel if no personal/taxi vehicle was available.

Great hotel, location, staff,rate

The Club Quarters was a great classy hotel, it was in a great location, even though it was in the bussiness district. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and the front desk gentleman was super helpfull on direction to a cuban cafe over in the suburbs. The rooms are no frills bussiness oriented rooms but we spent most our time enjoying Chi-town so it was a perfect place to crash in the evening. Very close to the various train/"L" stops. Orbitz has a crazy-low price on it so I jumped. The electronic check-in was neat but I always prefer a human over a machine. Great deal all-around.

The Elephant Castle bar in the main level of the hotel has a great beer selection, even for a chain. The service was not that great, but again it will probably vary on server and night. You can put your tab on your room if you want.. nice

cozy but clean downtown hotel

Great rates for a Sunday night stay in the windy city. We needed a place in the business district and this was a nice location. It was very clean and each floor had an excellent cold water "fountain" where you could fill bottles to go. It had a charming bar in the lobby. The staff was friendly, but because many patrons are part of the club, they didn't always explain things - like using the key in the elevator. The rooms were small, but that is typical downtown. Overall a nice place for the money.
